Bathroom smelt like sewage

If bathroom door left open could here when other rooms used toilet. Bathroom drain had silver paper stuck over it which I think was to stop the smell of sewage. The room had a door to another room and you could hear every noise that was made in the next room.

There is nothing special enough about this hotel to say it is anything but ok. Just does enough in every area but definitely doesn’t exceed expectations anywhere!

The Crown Plaza Perth is an excellent hotel and my must stay place in Perth. The staff are professional and friendly which makes the check in and check out experience easy. My room was spacious, immaculate, and the view over the Swan River was incredible. I ordered room service most nights and the food was excellent, arriving hot and tasting divine. My thanks to the Crown Plaza team for looking after me so well and giving me a superb room.

Despite a glitch at check in stay was great.
We were quite jet lagged and sleep deprived after a long flight and got to the CP late evening. We had a rental car and couldn't figure out how to get into the parking garage. It seems that we needed to pre-register the car's license plate....but how does one do that when you are getting a rental car and don't know plate number?!
The front desk woman was terrific -- she explained how to log on to site and register for the parking. But I was having difficulty accessing the internet. She was very helpful at resolving the problem and we were able to park!
Other than that which I think there needs to be a better way to do it I highly recommend the property.
Location directly across from the Swan River was perfect. Breakfast in the morning was great.
So despite the clunky issue of how does one preregister a rental car I still recommend the property!

Great location! Room is nice and the bed is very comfortable. The view from the balcony was amazing. Aside from this the staff was amazing. I want to do a shoutout to Jose from the reception team for helping us with all of our concern during our stay.

I’ve stayed here a number of times in the past but on this occasion realised just how tired and worn out this hotel is.
As a premium IHG brand a Crowne Plaza should be more modern and this hotel is certainly not that.
Worn holes in the carpet, huge stain on the carpet in my assigned room.
I’ll vote with my feet next time I’m in Perth and choose another accommodation

I enjoyed my stay here. Location was great to move around the city and the view from room of the river was spectacular. Room is clean and bed was very comfortable. I also used the pool which was lovely. I liked it so much I’ve already booked another stay!

Its not visible or well explained at POS / booking that the HOTEL does not offer PARKING , the HOTEL has onsite parking but this is managed by a third party and the HOTEL doesnt even offer assitance with this service
After arriving very late on a SUNDAY night , we were told that there waas no parking available , as we had not booked through the App ........... which was sent to us via a text message some days ago. Said txt message started out with confirming our booking details and right at the end of the message , contained a link to the PARKING app. Therefore if you did NOT read the entire message , you would not realise this requirement ........... Not to mention the cost of parking is $35 P/N - way in excess of other properties in the local area and operated by IHG
When we finally got into our room after sourcing parking on the street and having to walk through many homeless and drunk people loitering in front of the hotel . Decided to take a shower after a 6hr flight - only to find the towel was WET and rolled up into a wooden open cupboard and NO addtional towels avaialable as there were 3 of us (PAID for 3) staying in the room
We purchased breakfast and this was OK , although the lack of pork sausages indicates the hotel is catering for specific tastes perhaps ..........
I use to frequent this hotel every time i went to perth for both business and pleasure , with and without family - but that was the last time and it certainly isnt worthy of the CROWN PLAZA branding , had better service and facilities at HI Express.

The staff could not have been more helpful and informative. The room was clean, comfortable with a fantastic view of Lagley Park and the Swan River. Loved our stay and will be back.

Such good personal service. From front desk who cheerfully changed my dates of stay and on-site parking re-booking, to Phillip at breakfast. Spacious room, clmfy beds, great deck at Gusti bistro overlooking Swan River. In the city but far removed in the sense of ambience and busyness. Well done everyone.
