the hotel itself is newer and looks very nice when you walk in the doors. Was greeted and attended to very quickly. I have no complaints with the room. My only three issues were the TV is very confusing. Do not like the set up of trying to find something to watch. Disappointed that they had no USB-C ports for as news as this hotel is. I was disappointed in the craftsmanship of the bathrooms. They were clean, but the construction side did not take care of doing a nice job when caulking areas and trim very sloppy work. I was also disappointed that it wasn't a walk-in shower, but these three disappointments are personal preferences for myself. I would stay again.

This hotel has friendly workers and has a very good breakfast. The room and the breakfast area were very clean. Lots of parking area. Would stay here again.

Very opening space and welcoming front desk staff when I arrived! Easy and fast check in, clean lobby and wonderful clean room! Location easy to find. Highly recommend

I was part of a group of about 20 rooms that recently stayed 2 nights at the new Holiday Inn Express - Alton. We absolutely loved the rooms. Everything was just brand new, the hotel opened in July 2024. The Breakfast was great, the attendants were awesome. The location was perfect to get the charter bus in and out easily; near restuarants and attractions. The staff in the 3pm both nights was great- so helpful when I needed certain maps and printing; made us really feel welcome each night. I have traveled extensively over the years and I truly felt that the hotel fit our group's needs perfectly.

Great stay for my son State tournament

I had to find a place to stay for my son State tournament and I found this hotel.
I made two reservations. The young lady that checked me in was very nice and welcoming. My second reservation this young man went over and beyond. I had to switch rooms and there were no hesitation with doing this. I wanted to make sure I did not leave out housekeeping. Ms. Whitney Who cleaned up room 312 during my stay thank you for all your help 😊 and My God bless you on your journey sweetheart. Who ever is reading this the Hotel is by everything from Starbucks, five an below, restaurants, casino etc and the hotel is only 8 months old. You want be disappointed and trust me I only go to 5 star 🌟 🤩 hotel.

I was traveling on business and found this hotel. Convenient location for what I was looking for, but the staff was what made this stay the best. Everyone was super friendly. Newer hotel too.

This was a great hotel experience. The staff was friendly and the blinds blocked out light. Breakfast was great and served by friendly staff.

I paid for a premium room and got a queen, there was a dirty wash cloth in the shower and the bathroom floor was unmopped, the hallway and elevator was dirty every time I passed through them
