Horrible location, dirty hotel

The location of this hotel is between a seedy motel and abandoned hotel. The seedy motel is so bad they had to place a fence up so you can't even access to road to a signal.
It's impossible to drive to/from the hotel without doing a ton of u-turns and waiting in traffic jams. The access is horrible.
The hotel is dirty. The bathrooms have dirty grout, poor lighting, and doors that are cracked and warped from humidity damage.
There was a cockroach on one of the beds.
The only upside was that they provided daily room cleaning without having to request it.

I have stayed at this hotel many times without having any issues. This last stay May 2 - 4- 25 was a horrible experience.
They put us in a room with a bathroom door that does close completely. We checked in later than normal which was around 8ish. because of travel times.
Got settled and unpacked and went to shower and the bathroom door won't close. The front desk remedy was of course to switch rooms, which we were too tired to do. Just annoyed that a major hotel chain would rent a room in such disrepair. The floor tiles had been replaced and everytime you walk to the bathroom it made a loud noise and I felt uneasy walking on it. Never again will I stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Davenport.

The staff was super friendly and the rooms were very clean. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn.

Stayed here for two nights taking three showers in total. Every shower I took lacked hot water and was barely above freezing cold. Upon going to front desk to say something, i heard others mention same and nothing was done for them so just went about my business.
This is the second IHG brand hotel i have stayed at in past year and had a poor experience at the other one too. upon looking at a future wedding i have specifically booked a different hotel brand as i do not want to risk having another miserable experience at another IHG hotel.
Would not recommend.

I recently stayed at this hotel while visiting St. Augustine. It was a few miles from the overly busy historic and downtown area of the city, which provided more quiet . The hotel was clean and refreshed and one of the better appointed rooms I’ve been in throughout my travels throughout the nation. The breakfast food was a bit repetitive but there were plenty of options from which to choose.
So disappointing!

It’s a Dirty worn down facility. Stains on the sheets. No hot water either day in the Sink or shower. I tried both all hot and all cold knobs for extended periods of time. Broken clock, half of the tv screen was a blue haze.

This is now my favorite hotel in Davenport. Clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds and pillows. Varied breakfast. Priced well.

Loose tile in bathroom which could hide mold, shower head to big and sprayed water past the curtian, a/c unit could not be controlled from the wall or unit so it stayed cold in the room, and the black out curtian could not be moved so it let light in!!

Very helpful when I needed and quite hotel next to a lot of different food choices. And right off the major highway. I will definitely be back to this hotel. They have a lot of snack options in the lobby as well. And everyone I encountered was so very nice and helpful. A lot of parking that is free as well.
The shower was super old and provided very little water pressure. Bathtub is pretty tall for older guests attempting to take a shower.

The floor I stayed on was extremely loud and hard to get a good night sleep.
