Overbooked, they did not call and I was left searching in another town for a room.

I booked this hotel through Southwest well in advance. I checked in at 7pm to be told the hotel was overbooked and there were no available rooms. There were about 10 other’s behind me learning of this situation with me! The front desk girl was thrown into this scenario, however she had zero compassion and zero answers for 10 people trying to check in with reservations?! This hotel was aware of the # of rooms booked and the issue and did not bother to even call to explain or to try to rectify the situation?! How is this acceptable policy? I was told there were dirty rooms that could not get cleaned before housekeeping left, the hotel manager was MIA, and then I was then offered a dirty room if I didn’t mind it hadn’t been cleaned?! Shame on the entire system!
I had to drive to another town to find a room at 9:30pm. Not Ok!
I’ve stayed at this hotel previously, it’s every bit of a 2 star hotel.
IHG and management have a lot of room for improvement.
Do better Hammond.

We were very uncomfortable with our visit. We had no warm/hot water. We found food on the floor of our room from the past guest. We also had ants in our bathroom.
The charging ports also didn’t work.
Decent place to stay.

Was not greeted as an IHG Diamond member. Pool was closed. Everything else was as you'd expect at a Holiday Inn.
Breakfast was above average in comparison to most hotel breakfasts.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament. The location was very convenient for that location. Breakfast was a positive experience . We appreciate the immediate notification that the pool was out of service and the staff seemed truly regretful that we were inconvenienced by it. Overall a positive experience.

The person working at the front desk was not very nice. I wasn't expecting a band or anything but a simple hello how can I help you would have been nice. Or maybe even a thank you. The reception person working the morning we left was nice and pleasant. The bathroom in the hotel room was not very clean either. We have stayed here before a year or so ago and liked it so we came back. I think maybe the receptionist must've been having a bad day. Hopefully it was only us she was unpleasant with.

The lady checking us in was not friendly at all. Like we were bothering her as she had her phone in hand. Breakfast was ok however no microwave to warm up oatmeal. Coffee was empty and had to ask for it to be filled. Lots of things not kept up on. Room was big and comfy. It was a place to lay our heads.

I stayed for business, I am know that the building is relatively newer but it doesn’t seem like it’s being kept up or cleaned the way it should, there was a lot of garbage around the grounds and the side entrance door was broken.

So much potential, being a relatively new hotel, but I believe that staffing issues impact the full delivery of a perfect experience, with cleanliness issues (e.g., room and breakfast area), missing items in the breakfast area or things not working all around.

This was an awful experience.
Roach spray on counter upon entering.
Odor of weed all around
Staff acted annoyed to check in
No towels
No curtains in room- lights shining bright all night.
Charged a ridiculous amount for one night- $222.88 was NOT the cost I saw at booking. Never paid that much for a standard hotel for one night.
Never given a receipt at check out, asked.. told it would be emailed. We called multiple times and still no email. I needed that receipt.
Also pool broken. Hand written sign at front- next to roach spray.
The stay was exactly as expected.

Staff was curious, and interested in our comfort. We had zero complaints except for the breakfast. Although everything was clean, the food did not appear or taste as if much care went into it. The person tending the food area seemed upset as if she viewed customers as more work. We felt a little guilty for eating the food set out for us because she was unfriendly.
Hotel was clean and safe. Bed spacious and soft. Great location and good food options nearby.

I would recommend this location because it's accessible to the freeway with minimal noise. Also loved the free parking which other hotel chains are charging a fee for. Great breakfast to start the day helps as well.

Overall solid for the price point. I would have liked a bathtub and some better breakfast options, but those are specific to my tastes.
