On of my best IHG stays and I have 100’s

Best of bests. We stayed for one week in two rooms and it was one of my best stays and I’m a Diamond Elite member with hundreds of stays. Amazing people working on this location, we really enjoyed it and will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to come to LA

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations.
The breakfast was fantastic, offering a delicious variety of options to start the day right. The cleanliness of the rooms was impeccable, and the housekeeping staff did an outstanding job maintaining a fresh and comfortable environment. One of the highlights was the 24-hour availability of hot coffee—such a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more enjoyable!
Additionally, the service provided by the staff during breakfast was truly exceptional. They promptly cleaned up after meals, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Their efficiency and professionalism made a great impression.
If I had to mention one minor suggestion, it would be to have an extra bath towel available in the room. Since the hotel is located by the sea, frequent showers after swimming made me feel that an additional towel would have been convenient.
Overall, this hotel offers top-tier quality for its price. I highly recommend it and would love to visit again!

My Mom & I stayed at this hotel because of it's proximity to where my son lives. The hotel is easy to find, staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the Dove bath products in the bathroom. The breakfast had very nice choices and the staff was wonderful about keeping the food items fully stocked and the buffet/table areas cleaned as people came through.

Thanks to the friendly staff and convenient location, we had an amazing stay at the Hermosa Beach Holiday Inn Express during the Memorial holiday weekend.
We were walking distance to beach and restaurants.
We will most definitely stay at this location again.
Wonderful, except for broken toilet in room

Called several times about the broken toilet. They sent a housekeeper who said she fixed it, but didn’t. No maintenance staff property until 4 pm. Yuck.
Otherwise a very nice clean place, with comfortable beds and a good breakfast.

This is one of the cleanest hotels I ever stayed in. The cleaning crew is stellar with the job they're doing.
The included breakfast is delicious and the attending personnel is making sure to refill everything and clean immediately if there is the case.
The rooms are nice and have a TV, mini-fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker. Plus plenty of power outlets for charging devices.
I also liked the proximity to the beach (about 10 minutes walking).
What I didn't like so much was the noise coming from the highway and the fact that there was no way to keep the bathroom door open (and no fan for venting).
This being said, if the price is right, I will definitely come back.

We stayed for 13 nights and cannot fault anything about this hotel.
Room spacious and clean, breakfast fresh and plentiful and all staff helpful and friendly.
Great location, complimentary parking.

We stay at this hotel often as it's a nice stopover when cruising out of San Pedro. This time we arrived very early (9:45 a.m.) after getting off the ship. They were kind enough to check us into an available room that was on the back side of the hotel versus the road side which is the Pacific Coast Highway. The room was lovely. Very spacious and nicely remodeled. The rooms have mini-refrigerators and microwaves which makes it nice. The rooms are also very clean and the bathrooms are nice. This one had a nice glass-door shower (not a tub). They do a really nice job on their breakfast. There are lots of choices and they have people refilling and keeping things fresh. We also enjoy that you can purchase sundries (water, soda, etc.) and charge it to your room which is very convenient. The staff are always friendly and accommodating.

Our room had a huge super king super comfy bed, choice of pillows, aircon, powerful spacious shower with large bottles of shower gel and shampoo, twin basins, two backlit heated mirrors, ocean view, hair dryer, iron & board, cable TV with 70+ channels, HDMI inputs for streaming sticks and laptops, windows that open, power and USB sockets aplenty, room safe, loads of hanging space, room serviced daily, wonderful engaging staff in all departments, an extremely generous complimentary breakfast choice, great location around a 1 mile stroll from both Hermosa and Redondo pier, a large supermarket and other amenities right across the road. Photos on the website don’t do it justice - the rooms are far more spacious, bright and airy than they appear in the pics. I really can’t think of anything wrong with this place. It’s the perfect hotel.
