Very old hotel in need of repair

We stayed at this hotel because we needed to park for a week at Quickpark. We liked the package they offered. However the hotel was very old and in disrepair. The curtains were ripped, the furniture was stained and dirty, some of the doors had holes in them, the room was overall not in good shape. We had to wait a while to be checked in because the receptionist was away from the desk. At breakfast the worker was sitting visiting with a guest. The coffee ran out so it took a while to refill it. Overall not a good experience. Next time we will pick a different airport hotel.
As a rewards member we were not offered an upgrade or water or points. Although we did get 500 welcome bonus.
Great Location for Early Morning Flights & Easy to Get To

In spite of the negative surprise of being charged for our parking (we only stayed one night and were charged for that), we love this hotel for its cleanliness, location, and ease of arriving and leaving for Detroit Metro early in the morning. It is also surrounded by decent mid-level restaurants. It would be great if the company would let us know ahead of time about the new policy concerning parking.

Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was very rude and acted very unprofessional that I had interrupted her personal conversation with a woman standing at the front desk. Upon entering our room, I found receipts from 2/2/25 (almost 3 months ago) on the floor in the room. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. We went down for breakfast at 5:30 am as we had an early flight. The same desk person was at the dining area having another personal conversation with a woman sitting at a table. Trying to get information about our park and stay, I scanned the QR code located on a table. It stated to see the front desk. I asked about the stay and park, and the desk clerk (while in the dining room) pointed to a window and said you have to park out there. I stated that I didn’t understand where she was pointing (it was raining and their curtains were covering the window. She rudely told me to go to the lot behind the hotel. My husband and I went to take our luggage to our car and I told the person that she was extremely rude. Upon returning to have breakfast, I walked up to the counter and took the manager’s card. While eating breakfast, this clerk made a point to say hello and good morning to everyone that entered the dining area. As we left, the woman called me a foul name as I walked by. We parked in the lot. Upon returning after our flight, trying to leave the lot. We were asked for our voucher. As we had never received a voucher, I returned to the front desk. The clerk was very polite and upon locating the voucher book, it was shown that we never received the voucher we had paid for with our stay. This front desk clerk was not only extremely rude but also deliberately failed to give us the information as well as item we needed to exit the parking lot. Very poor customer service.
Nice hotel and comfortable clean room. Good value.

Great location to airport. Access to restaurants, etc. Comfortable room. Bring earplugs because of planes flying overhead if you’re a light sleeper.
Tired room also was fairly dirty

I was given a price back in March 2024 when I booked this room for August 15, 2024 and they emailed me a price of $147.00 and they ended up charging me $230.00 for the one night. I will never stay here again !!! And I use to stay at this place 2 times a a year. I’m done !! Beds are now comfortable like most Holiday Inn expresses hard as a rock. Yeah.

The rooms are kind of dated. The general look of the hotel is fairly nice but when you go inside your room everything is late 1900's early 2000's. However, after a weekend of traveling, I was exhausted and nothing else mattered but getting some much-needed rest. So if that's the case for you, this hotel is perfect.

The employees at the front desk were friendly and helpful as always. The room was clean. There were a few things that concerned us. The full length mirror was filthy. The lamp shade should have been thrown away. It was all ripped up and the tv remote control in the extra room was missing. The place doesn’t seem to be as tidy. I was told months ago that it was recently sold. And it shows. Please see the attached photo of the lamp shade.

We have stayed at this property multiple times using their Park N Ride pkg which is reasonable. The evening check-in help are fantastic. The day shift very laid back including the dining room. They spent a long time sitting and chatting in the morning even when the coffee ran out. On top of that, when I informed the desk upon check out that our bathroom would be wet as there wasn’t a a shower curtain, she said oh, I’ll let housekeeping know or
some such thing. Think she could have been more professional or offered additional points or something.

I would have liked to give this hotel a higher rating but I can't do to the fact the my black raincoat was taken from the closet of my room. I called less than 24 hours about the coat that I left and was told that no turn it in and the room was not rebooked. What else can I think except that it was taken by someone working in the hotel. Also, breakfast buffet was empty for bacon and eggs while the dining room lady watched me open the empty trays and said nothing.
Cheap parking for airport was the only good thing about this hotel

Old, dated hotel. Staff didn’t seem to want to work or be there. The room is tiny with no room in the bathroom/sink area. The shower was scary looking so we didn’t use it. All the faucets dripped. The breakfast had stale bread, spoiled milk, broken pancake machine and staff that didn’t refill anything. They only had about 2 of the normal HIE offerings.

They have signs up with a code to pay for parking… online it shows free parking, the lady at the front desk said “it should be free I think but this is a third party service “
So basically you can get towed if you don’t pay
It’s a scam and I will not be staying there ever again
