Great place to rest after a long day of travel

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive to every detail. The service was truly exceptional and made my stay feel comfortable and stress-free. The hotel itself was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. I highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for warm hospitality and a great overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Rooms are cozy and stay cool! Bed is so comfy, I didn't want to get up. The breakfast and kitchen staff are truly exceptional. The front desk greet you like family and friends, warm and welcoming, like a pop of sunshine. The housekeeping staff are very thorough and ensure your room is just right. Definitely the best choice in Slidell.

Stopped in on a long drive from Oklahoma to South Florida. I was greeted by a friendly and helpful host. He made check in for the 2 rooms a breeze. Place was clean and well decorated. Had all the proper amenities including the shower. The bed was super comfortable and pillows were almost taken home with me. Perfect nights rest to continue the long drive next day. Thank you

The rooms are very clean and updated with good counter space in the bathrooms. Great customer service with friendly and responsive staff. Loved the Easter decorations in the lobby and the gift bag at registration. The hot cinnamon rolls at breakfast were good, and the variety is what you expect. Would have like to have some bananas at breakfast, rather than just apples and oranges.

We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff members we interfaced with were all upbeat and professional. The facility was very clean and cheerfully decorated for the season. We definitely recommend this hotel.

This is my usual stop in my travels. This hotel is quiet, comfortable and an easy access from I-10. The staff have always been professional, friendly and helpful when there are any needs; even if it is only a fork. :-) I appreciate the restful experience.

Wheelchair Access Room

We stay in a lot of hotels during the year due to family and business trips. We always request a room with wheelchair access since my wife has to use a wheelchair most of the time. The room at Slidell, LA is the first one in our experience that met our needs nearly perfectly. The room had a wider footprint than most especially in the entry area. The door to the large bathroom opened into the bathroom for easier roll in access. Many rooms do not have that feature. One small feature that was missing and would help is vertical hand rails in the shower stall. A vertical hand rail on the back wall and on the wall opposite the shower head would be beneficial. We carry suction cup hand rails that can be added in some showers if the tile is smooth. In this case, the tile was textured so the suction cups do not adhere. Otherwise, a nearly perfect bathroom for handicapped access. Thank you to whomever designed this one. Other IHG properties could benefit.
