Stayed at Holiday Inn while attending a graduation. Everything was perfect, place was impeccable, bed was comfortable, slept like a baby with room darkening window treatments and no noise. Stay was excellent!

During my stay, the staff was helpful and professional. I would stay there again and recommend it highly. If you looking for a country, clean location this is the place to visit. A Walmart is less than 2 miles away.

Event Stay Near Gainesville

My wife and I were attending an event in Gainesville over the weekend and we selected this hotel for the 4 day stay. This was our second stay at this property, the first being a single overnight stay in January.
The staff was excellent, friendly, and helpful, the rooms were clean and comfortable as we have come to expect from Holiday Inn Express venues, and we did not experience any problems during our stay.
The breakfast was fresh and hot each day, the choices were good, and it was ready on time which allowed us to get to our event on time each day. I particularly like the addition of the Corned Beef Hash on the weekend days, one of my personal favorites.
If I have any complaints, and I consider it minor, it would be that the coffee was a bit strong for my taste, but that like so many things is more about individual preferences than anything else.
A MUST stay!

I had a fantastic one-night stay at the Holiday Inn in Starke, FL. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and hassle-free. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby restaurants and attractions. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the day, offering a good variety of options. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Starke!

Had a nice stay at this property; I had a very large room with a king bed and a big picture window which enabled me to see my car in the lot and the bad weather coming in! My travel plans were delayed by storms but the hotel was very accommodating, allowing me to stay in my room later into the day and then stay in the lobby, where there are several large TVs tuned in to the weather channel. I also spent time on the treadmill in the workout room, watching the news and weather and getting some exercise at the same time. I left an item behind in the bathroom and the person who cleaned my room found me in the lobby and returned it to me! That was above and beyond - wish I had gotten her name. Also the breakfast was very good, and substantial, with plenty of tables and TVs.

Great Hotel with Friendly staff.
My only complaint is the use of squirt bottles in the shower.
Without my glasses, I cannot tell which is the shampoo, conditioner, or body wash. And the Body wash was Empty. Bar soap is always new and fresh!

We stayed at this property for a long weekend event. It was clean throughout, the bed was quite comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the business center one time and could accomplish the online task needed. I would recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay in the greater Gainsville FL area.
