I would recommend this hotel if you are in the area. It is very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the room was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

My room was very clean and spacious. The bed slept well. The check in and out were great. The hotel is located in a nice area. The only thing lacking was breakfast. As others have stated No Eggs were available the week I was there. I stay at IHG properties if not every week every other week and no other property has had this issue. I paid for full breakfast and expect it. Hopefully it will be fixed. Sylva is a Beautiful. Many restaurants are in the area.

We stayed for 4 nights and we loved it. Nice new room bright and beautiful. Nice bedding and very comfortable beds. Clean bathroom and awesome shower. Breakfast was amazing except there were no eggs. I know eggs are expensive but that is my only negative about my stay. Awesome staff and breathtaking views. I ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. KEN R.

Negative experience:
Check-in could not locate my reservation...questioned me several times if I had made a mistake. I was finally able to get my confirmation number after several minutes due to poor wifi connection...never an apology from front desk attendant. Just handed me a paper with a lost of "don't dos" ie.
No smoking
No late checkout without 24 hour notice.
Late checkout w/o notice will be charged another nights stay.
Don't stain the bed, carpet or cost of damage will incur.
Shower head did not work properly....informed front desk but again was questioned as to what was not working about it.
Very negative hotel in general. I will avoid thus one as there are plenty of good options in the area.

Very clean, nicely appointed room, lobby and breakfast eating area. Well located with easy access to Sylva, Dillsboro, Bryson City, Franklin and Waynesville.
Excellent choice of restaurant/eateries in all these named towns. Be sure to take the train ride between Dillsboro and Bryson City.
Do's and Don'ts

I have never checked into a hotel and been given a list of "do's and don'ts". I realize that this hotel has just been renovated but this list just makes a person feel like they're about to destroy the room if they don't follow these rules.
Otherwise the staff was personable, the breakfast was okay, except no eggs. However two nights later in Charlotte at an IHG Holiday Inn they did have eggs on the menu.
