First time staying at a AVID and it was a pleasant experience. Front desk in the evening was very friendly. Breakfast was great. Close to the venue we were going to. Only complaint was in the morning during breakfast BET was on the TV playing music videos of a somewhat explicit nature. Most of the people staying were there for a Christian concert and there were kids in the lobby. Didn’t really appreciate the atmosphere that created in the lobby. Also the morning front desk was almost non existent and not as welcoming as a you’d expect a front desk employee to be.

Where do I start? This was definitely one of our favorite hotels, as far as amenities and overall experience.
The lobby/breakfast/food area was so big and bright! Loved the color scheme, and how inviting everything looked. The snack/vending area was very well organized, easy to browse and access, and had a great selection.
My spouse was pleased to see the fresh ground from beans coffee dispensers in the lobby - we never see that at a hotel.
The dual, roomy, working elevators were a nice departure from the norm (not rinky-dink, sketchy creaky ones we've been on lately)!
Can't say enough about the room darkening blinds...we've been Priority Club members for many years, and this is probably the first hotel where the blinds actually did their job! We slept through breakfast (unfortunately-was looking forward to trying it) and enjoyed our sleep! The bed was very comfortable, obviously.
In short, this stay definitely earned the 10 out of 10 rating!

The hotel was conveniently located 5 minutes from the Doggett Ford Park arena. The hotel and the room was clean and well maintained. I loved the light blocking shades! I have a very bad back and it is always a gamble whether I'll get a comfortable bed or not. The bed was amazing. A+++ for the bed! The attendant was very nice and accommodated my friend and I with rooms close to each other so we could visit easily. The snack bar had a nice selection of snacks. I liked the decor of the room.

Clean hotel, Nice rooms, Friendly Staff, Plenty of towels, Price was affordable, Free parking, Free breakfast, Easy access to highway, Sell snacks and drinks, TV and mini fridge in room. Microwave available in lobby. Ice machine on first floor.

We have stayed here several times over the last couple of months as we are relocating to the area and have been house searching. Avid is very clean - the room, bathroom and the common areas. We have a pet that we bring and there has never been any evidence that there were pets in the room previously. The front desk and housekeeping staff are friendly and knowledgable. We have now purchased our home, so will not be staying here, but I would recommend this place for anyone with or without a pet. It is a great value also.

The was a great stay i recommend this hotel clean atmosphere good lighting great but wall are thin but me and my family enjoyed my family kids enjoyed alot of places to eat not far from the hotel game room right down the street

The hotel is in a great location, clean rooms friendly staff amazing continental breakfast. I highly recommend this location. It is located within walking distance to the Main Event. Great hotel for your family stay also. Beds are good and comfy For the average person, I just have a bad back. So I am very particular.
