Loved the hotel experience. I would visit again and stay here. The overall breakfast was great. The housekeeping service was awesome. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, I did have AC issues. I do recommend hotel stay.

Housekeeping management needs to be investigated. Dirty and contaminated rooms. Front desk agent had to move me twice before getting a decent room. Found crawling worm in first bathroom. Second bath mildew infested in ac unit. Smelled horribly on third floor. Have to go all the way downstairs to use microwave. Needed to look at what the place had to offer more thoroughly. I would have never though this hotel would have been in this condition.

Over multiple years of staying here, I have always need greeted by friendly staff. The entire hotel is neat and clean. Rooms are as described and comfortable. Kitchen staff went above and beyond this past stay on meeting a specific need we had. The first place I look for available rooms when staying here.

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend because she was participating in the Miss Hospitality Pageant. We felt safe during our stay at the hotel. Check-in was very easy, and the front desk staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. My only complaint was that there was only 1 luggage cart for the hotel. Other than that, our weekend was great.

Check in and out … quick and easy. Super friendly staff. Loved the grab and go breakfast … perfect for us & great selections. We travel frequently and this was THE best hotel we’ve experienced in a while. Highly recommend.

We stopped on our way through town to Gulf Shores. The cleanliness of the hotel is what we will come back for! Breakfast was fast, easy, and delicious. Our first time at AVID- Hattiesburg and we will always come back!
TV viewing issues

I continue to have problems with the TVs when I visit this hotel. I changed rooms two times on this stay due to TV problems. Other than this, it was a good stay..

This was our a little anniversary trip getaway and we loved our room accommodations. We’ve stayed here before and it keeps getting better and better. Highly recommend staying here for a little getaway weekend!

I loved everything about avid hotel! From check-in to clean rooms and floors to comfortable bed and breakfast offerings to the ease of checkout! There were multiple people constantly cleaning and restocking the breakfast area. We also appreciated that there were tables and chairs just outside of the dining area where we could sit and enjoy our coffee away from the hustle and bustle of the crowd.

From Dakota helping with the reservation, to the bed that I didn't want to get out of (except to enjoy the incredible breakfast spread and beverage bar) our group was extremely pleased with the Avid hotel in Hattiesburg West. Thank yall for a great experience!
