Hotel quality has gotten worse

This used to be our favorite hotel when we visited Lexington. On this visit, the pantry items were sorely lacking. My granddaughters love to go there and pick out some ice cream and they no longer have ice cream or very many snacks at all. The breakfast was also very pared down. There was not hot chocolate or black tea and no milk for the cereal. The hotel lobby floor was filthy upon our arrival and there was a mop bucket there, but it was clearly not being used. Will reconsider which hotel to stay at next time we visited Lexington.

My stay was really good. The area was great and the staff members were always helpful. I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a hotel in that area.

Honestly, I had a good time.I didn't have to think about my hotel. It was brand new fresh and clean. I was able to charge my car while I was sleeping. The t v was great and tons of outlets to plug in your phone. Strong showers and crisp water. Not a single hiccup at this place

First time staying at an avid brand hotel-very impressed. Simple but clean accommodations, very friendly staff, good continental breakfast with a great layout. Staff is very freindly and helpful and the area has a lot to offer with shopping and restaurants. We will stay here again.

Hotel located convenient with highway access in Hamburg area of Lexington during my 3-night stay. Everything was clean and updated, and the staff was very friendly. No complaints here!

My husband and I both had doctors appointments in Lexington. We had stayed at other hotels for previous appointments and continue to shop around for accommodations that fit our needs. This hotel came up on a search, sounded interesting and within budget. We were pleasantly surprised. The criteria I searched was location, price, reviews, handicap accessible bath, parking and breakfast. We love hotels without carpet in rooms or heavy window treatments as these can be difficult with allergies and appear to be more difficult to clean. We don't require board rooms, exercise equipment, or pool. We needed a very clean, comfortable and quite room with above mentioned requirements. We could not have been more pleased. Windows in lobby need a good cleaning. :)

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff, when we saw them, were nice. Breakfast was extremely disappointing. There was no hot water and when we tried to let staff know about the issue, there was no one to be found.

Since the rates were so reasonable, the hotel far exceeded our expectations. It was clean and had everything that we needed. The breakfast had a lot of variety, and there were both cold and hot choices. The bed was comfortable, and the room was exceptionally clean. I would recommend this to anyone.
Pretty good, but not great

Our room was pretty good.
The bathroom sink just trickled out and would not get at all hot. The water in the shower was fine, so I expect the sink itself was the problem.
Breakfast was disappointing compared to other IHG hotels we had stayed at.
We asked for an extra pillow which never arrived.
And even though I got the room "free" with points, I see a $20 and a $30+ charge on my credit card, which I don't understand because other stays at IHG hotels using points have not incurred any charges.
Other than that the hotel was fine. All in all, I'd give it a B- or C+.
