I absolutely love the pared down rooms and services. I think my favourite thing in the room was the hooks on the wall to help me stay organised during my stay.
Breakfast was a pared down HI Express breakfast and was just right. Avid will be my new go to hotel for my travels.

Booked a 2 night stay. First night was awful due to a strobe light blinking above the bed every 10 seconds. I was not upset by this until I talked to the front desk person the next morning. I showed the front desk person a video of the annoying strobe light, and they said yah - it was a known issue - in fact it was a number one complaint from guests. He’d send someone up to put tape over the strobe light on the smoke alarm. Now this made me angry. If the hotel staff knew about the issue - why weren’t they proactive? Why did I have to suffer through a sleepless night? Unacceptable.

good gym, clean room, newer property, rooms a little small but it appears intent on social gathering in lobby based on amenities. good pool. same blah food from HIE, but at least it is free. Okay coffee, and very convenient. board games in lobby a good touch

The staff was most helpful at check-in. The Avid hotel is clean and comfortable. Good value too.

Veio visitar uma família e decidiu experimentar o avid, pois nunca tinha se hospedado em um antes. O hotel é muito limpo e a recepção facilita o check-in. Eles se perguntaram se o nosso quarto era o que queríamos. Peguei o café da manhã na manhã seguinte, na saída, e tive a impressão de que eles cozinharam no local, o que foi ótimo. Gostei da opção dos ovos com algo diferente do que simples. A única coisa que seria bom ter eram as opções de milhas. Não teria problema em se hospedar lá novamente, e provavelmente terá no Natal.

The people that work there are very friendly, continental breakfast was decent in the morning, I liked that you can get a late check out right on the TV screen. But checking out feature was not working on the app.

I truly enjoyed my stay — the entire experience exceeded my expectations. The staff was welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The room was spotless, well-designed, and offered a perfect balance of relaxation and convenience. I also appreciated the little touches, from the amenities to the overall atmosphere, which made the environment feel warm and inviting. Everything was smooth, stress-free, and left me looking forward to returning again.

I don’t usually leave reviews but felt like this one was necessary because we were so satisfied with our stay. You can definitely tell that the hotel is new. Very clean (no carpet in the rooms) The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable!! All the amenities in the room were great (towels, shampoo, conditioner, blow dryer, iron, mini fridge, lighting, heat/air control) We did not get up early enough to have breakfast but others in our group were satisfied with what they had. The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. We will definitely be staying at this hotel in the future. Highly recommended!!
