Security issues!

I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Room was partially cleaned and front desk staff completely dismissed a security issue that I had.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean and the location of the property is amazing! Close to restaurants, and downtown st. Augustine. Would definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend getaway

The staff and management are top notch and go out of their way to make things right and ensure your comfort. The rooms are clean and inviting and the location is excellent, especially for events at the Amphitheater. A desk clerk shared a number with us for a local shuttle bus to take us to our event and they were reasonably priced, timely, friendly, and super convenient. Several restaurants within walking distance, free parking, and in-room Nespresso machine. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel just be aware the the walls are a little thin so an upper floor may be your best bet.
Hellish Nightmare

I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Voco St. Augustine, which was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had with IHG. I want to be clear upfront: this feedback is in no way a reflection of IHG as a brand. In fact, your IHG customer service team was excellent and the only saving grace throughout this ordeal. Their support helped us manage what can only be described as a hellish stay.
I am a Platinum Elite and Ambassador member, and I have stayed at IHG properties across the globe for years. This is the first time I’ve ever been compelled to write such a strongly worded complaint, which speaks to just how shockingly poor this experience was.
The issues were numerous and unacceptable:
Initial Room Condition: The room we were first checked into had a clogged shower, making it unusable from the start.
Second Room – Worse: After requesting a transfer, the second room had a strong odor of cigarette smoke, visible beach sand in drawers, and a pervasive feeling of uncleanliness. It was obvious that basic housekeeping had not been done throughout the stay.
Filthy Carpets: The carpets were sticky and visibly dirty – walking barefoot was not an option.
Billing Nightmare: There were incorrect charges on our bill, and when I asked the front desk to correct them, the staff member named “Les” blatantly stated, “I don’t touch the bill.” We had to wait for hours for another staff member to assist – a complete lack of accountability and basic hospitality.
Bar and Restaurant – Understaffed and Underserved: The bartender could not make even basic cocktails and appeared to be the only staff member managing the bar, restaurant, and front desk duties simultaneously. This is not just poor service—it’s a sign of gross mismanagement.
Food Options – Practically None: The hotel’s restaurants offered little to no food options, despite being advertised otherwise. There is one staff member doing everything.
This experience was not only frustrating but completely inconsistent with IHG’s global standards. It felt more like a poorly managed roadside motel than a property under one of the most respected hospitality brands.
As a loyal IHG member, I hope this incident prompts urgent review and intervention. No guest—especially not a Platinum Elite Ambassador—should ever have to endure what we experienced at Voco St. Augustine.
I respectfully request that this complaint be escalated and addressed seriously. I would appreciate a formal response on how IHG intends to handle this situation with the property, and what steps will be taken to ensure other guests do not face similar treatment.

We had an amazing experience at this property. Staff was super friendly, rooms were modern, clean and location is the perfect area to the City. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to have a great time in this city. The food at the property was delicious but the only critique was the wait time which was about an hour for a few breakfast orders. The price for this property was very reasonable and overall a great value

Great place to stay when going to a concert at the Amp. Saw Ringo Starr during this stay.
Also easy to get an Uber to go downtown.. of if your able it's not that bad of a walk or bike ride. We're both in our 70's so our long walks are behind us.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The bathroom in the room in the room that I stayed in could use a little sprucing up. Other than that, the room was great. I did sleep with my headset because of the noise at the house next to my room. Not the hotels fault at all. The cost of the room was a bit steep but it was a last minute trip.

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and worked well. The breakfast was very good and the server was friendly and attentive. Housekeeping staff was also helpful!
Rooms were on the small side but it wasn't a problem.

We were not sure what to expect when booking this stay, but we found a real jewel. We were so thankful for such a nice stay we added a night just so we could keep exploring the beautiful city. We had our kids and they loved having a separate room from us. True story: THIS PLACE IS GREAT!

Highly recommend, friendly staff, centrally located, clean, parking for a trailer, remodeled, bar in hotel and next door. Better than the one we stayed at in Charleston SC, it really needed renovation.
