Zentral gelegenes Hotel mit schöner Atmosphä

Ich bin regelmäßig in diesem Hotel, da ich in Kiel meine Arzttermine wahrnehme – und komme deshalb auch immer wieder gerne hierher. Das Hotel ist sehr schön und sauber, mit einer hervorragenden Lage direkt in der Fußgängerzone. Ideal für alle, die zentral übernachten möchten. Leider gibt es keine hoteleigenen Parkplätze, was die Anreise mit dem Auto etwas umständlich macht. Was mir diesmal besonders aufgefallen ist: Der Teppich im gesamten Hotel sollte dringend grundgereinigt werden – das trübt den sonst gepflegten Eindruck deutlich. Außerdem finde ich es schade, dass es seit der Übernahme durch IHG kein kostenloses Getränk mehr gibt, wenn man auf die Zimmerreinigung verzichtet. Dieser kleine Anreiz hat mir immer gut gefallen. Insgesamt aber ein angenehmes Hotel, zu dem ich trotz kleiner Schwächen weiterhin gerne komme.

The hotel was clean and had a modern feel and within walking distance of everything.
It was however, disappointing that there was no complimentary coffee. I had messaged the hotel asking if there was complementary coffee and they said yes in the lobby. That was not the case. I believe a hotel of this category should always offer complementary coffee and it is the first Holiday Inn that I’ve stayed that did not.

Die Betreuung und Unterstützung war wie immer erste Klasse! Trotz der Kieler-Woche wurde der Aufenthalt zu einem tollen Erlebnis. Obwohl ich regelmässig beruflich in Kiel bin und auch im Welly Kiel übernachte.

Too expensive for what you're paying

The number one pro about this hotel is its location and 24 hour bar in the lobby. The rooms were pretty updated but one of our rooms flooded and it got all of our stuff and luggages wet. We did not sleep that night trying to dry out our belongings. Lastly, there's no amenities in this property besides the 24 hour bar and breakfast for 19 Euros/day

Given all other hotels were sold out it was my only option. But the cost for what was being offered was not worth it. The ONLY thing that was worth the cost was the location right down town making it easy to get places. No onsite parking either.

Netter Empfang, aufgrund eines Member-Specials hatten wir auf dem Zimmer als IHG-Mitglied eine Flasche Wein aus Schleswig-Holstein als Geschenk 😀 Mineralwasser ist als Mitglied auch dabei.
Tolles Frühstück, lustige Sprüche auf den Besteck-Kästen, alles sehr sauber, Lage perfekt direkt in
der Stadt zwischen Bahnhof und Ostseekai. Absolute Weiterempfehlung.
