My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Handan Hualuxe. I stayed at the Shanghai Hualuxe a few months ago and became a fan of this chain. We were recognized as Platinum Elite status and provided an upgrade. We checked in late and experienced issues with a booking and refunding a credit due to being charged for Lounge Access when the lounge was not yet operational. The front desk crew, consisting of Nicole, Darren, and Swallow, did their best to help resolve the problem. One even contacted my wife to inquire whether the credit had gone through. Their attentiveness is greatly appreciated.
Although we didn't have the opportunity to dine at the hotel, the breakfast was excellent, particularly the Chinese options. The servers were efficient and caring. As a coffee aficionado, I was somewhat disappointed that the espresso machine did not produce hot enough steamed milk, resulting in our cappuccinos and lattes being lukewarm. I brought this matter to the staff, who reported to the manager, and hopefully, when we return for another trip, we can enjoy a nice hot cup of java.
All in all, I give this hotel an A. Once the hot steamed milk issue is fixed and the Lounge opens, I may consider adding a couple of ++ to my review.

In regards to the condition of this hotel, it’s excellent. Yet, service needs to be improved. Staff here are not well trained, especially front desk receptionists. You won’t enjoy full benefits here for platinum or diamond members. They have been trying to downgrade or minimize the benefits you are supposed to have, which is unbearable.

和洲际的标准差距甚远！！！不知道洲际集团是如何考察评估的？这家酒店接受过洲际集团培训吗？从前台到餐厅，服务都极差！住过世界各地洲际旗下的酒店，这是最差的！！！
