I had a truly wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Resort. We had a mediocre experience. Mark-ups at this hotel are excessive. Our room was poorly cleaned. The breakfast was poor. The A/C was poor. Pool was very nice. Staff was friendly. Beautiful view of Kathmandu Valley. Facility looks new but not as well kept as I would have expected. We had planned to return but changed our minds. Not a bad hotel at all, but our experience was rough.

I hope no one goes through this experiences waiting for 5 hours to check in, after early check in they promised for the elite members to finally get to check in in a room where AC during extreme summer heat did not work, and parents above 75 years old and kids as young as 12 are waiting out of excitement to check in. Finally after several attempts to call maintenance, they came and fixed after 5 hours waiting!!! That’s utterly gross. I am not happy at all and no body would be. 2 kids were given free lunch as compensation. Hotel management was contacted, they instantly replied with copy paste generic apology template. Management is in dire need of training, until that happens, will stay away from this hotel to avoid ruining another vacation.

Overall stay was great, It was first visit for me and my family to Nepal and this property is situated in perfect and beautiful location.
However, cleanliness in or outside room and in overall property need to be better. Also, breakfast food quality or taste to be made better

Overall the welcoming of the hotel, responsive nature of staffs, the upgraded suit room reservation by recognizing me as a diamond elite member was unexpected, hotel perks and obviously the pool was awesome, moreover the food, the room and other amenities were excellent and i would recommend to visit this hotel

What a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. This hotel offers warm hospitality and exceptional service from start to finish. Its convenient location is matched by the genuinely welcoming and respectful staff who were always ready to assist with a smile.

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed at the front desk by Salma whose friendly demeanor made an immediate impression. Although I arrived early for check-in, she reassured me that my room would be ready soon and true to her word it was prepared within 25 minutes. She even arranged for interconnecting rooms with a stunning city view and made sure my request for an extra bed was taken care of. Her professionalism and attention to detail were outstanding and she took the time to explain all hotel facilities and restaurant timings.

I thoroughly enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel. During dinner I met Umesh who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the buffet offerings. His enthusiasm and dedication to guest service truly stood out. We saw him again at breakfast the next morning and he maintained the same energy and warmth great job Umesh.👍

I also want to acknowledge other staff members who contributed to an excellent experience Obed, Divyanshu, Sudip, Buddha, Roshni, Sugam, Namita, the Chefs the housekeeping team and many others whose names I may have missed. Every interaction reflected a high standard of hospitality.

Special thanks 🙏 to the management team and to General Manager Mr. Ajay Kumar for maintaining such a well-run and welcoming hotel. I will absolutely return and highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Kathmandu, Nepal.

Bakery items, especially the muffin, needs improvement. Muffin was very dry.
