I am a frequent customer of Holiday Inn Ho Tram since 2022. Each year, I have to take my family here at least once (if not twice). I love every effort that you put into this asset, maintaining the facility to remain at the top. I enjoy every moment I spend with my family here in Holiday Inn Ho Tram.

However, I would strongly recommend the management to take note of these areas:
- First, why would you have the children's waterplay area shutdown for maintenance during the weekend? Bad choice, as you must be fully aware, that is the peak time of the whole week and it really turned down the mood a bit.
- Second, please experience the away trip of Toan Thang bus. It's really terrible as the bus not only doesn't have good shock absorber, it's A/C also works terrible as the wind holes make the temperature too cold when opened, but when you close all, the temperature inside the bus is just awkwardly bad. It's different with the bus operated by IHG that took us from HCMC to Ho Tram. I don't know reason of the switch, and to be honest I don't care, but the quality must be equal.

Huge deposit

I’m really not happy about the deposit of 25,000,000 dong. I paid it on arrival and asked for my hotel bill to be credited against the deposit. Now I have paid my room bill and 1 week later have not had my deposit returned. I haven’t seen this at any other IHG around the the world,

The resort is very nice, spacious, and clean. The children's facilities are well-equipped, which made my children very happy — they had a great summer vacation here. The reception staff are friendly, and the customer service is attentive and helpful. We are really satisfied and will definitely come back on our next trip.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn. The rooms were exceptional. I especially loved how in the two bedroom family suite, the children’s bedroom had the sink lowered to child height. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean. Breakfast was a great selection. The staff and the service were absolutely amazing. It was great to have so many activities around for the kids to do. I was a little disappointed that these were all at an extra cost though.

Good hotel, especially the staffs at Beach where we have our lunch when we circling around and find it in the Ixora next door. And the staffs To Ly, Hoai at the Beach Bar were also awesome, my Mom really like them. We have a very good time there dispite of the rain. The food were also good at all the restaurants we went to (Beach Box and infinity).

The staffs really change the atmosphere for us as the constant rains affected the journey.

Fantastic Family Experience at a Great Value

We had a wonderful stay at the newly opened Holiday Inn Resort! The resort is modern, clean, and very family-friendly — perfect for my son’s 12th birthday celebration.

They provided a complimentary birthday cake, and as an IHG member, I really appreciated that my son was still considered a kid during our stay — a generous bonus that made the experience even more memorable. There’s also a kids’ playground, arcade, and lots of spaces to keep children entertained.

The free shuttle to Ho Chi Minh City was another highlight — the bus was clean and comfortable, with complimentary bottled water and tissue provided. The breakfast buffet was also a great experience — delicious food with a good variety to choose from. Even the dental kit in the room stood out — it came with a curved dental pick, which was a nice touch you don’t always see in hotels.

However, there were a couple of things I didn’t like. The swimming pool uses rough tiles that can easily scrape the skin — not ideal, especially for kids. And the smell of the beach wasn’t very relaxing compared to other beaches I’ve been to.

Though it’s not a 5-star resort, the facilities and service definitely felt like one — true to IHG standards. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend this resort to families. We’d love to come back — hopefully with smoother pool tiles next time!

Exceptional Service The Grand Ho Tram-Thanks Trang

This review is for Miss Nguyen Thi Thu Trang, Convention Manager at The Holiday inn Ho Tram Beach, and the entire team at this beautiful beachside resort in Xuyen Moc, Vietnam.

We recently celebrated my 70th birthday at the Grand on May 17, 2025, and Miss Trang went above and beyond to make the event absolutely unforgettable.

From the start, she helped coordinate shuttle and taxi options for our overseas guests, provided room booking info (including casino options), and even worked directly with our U.S. guests to process international payment links. When several guests had to cancel or change names last minute (as tends to happen with long-haul flights from the U.S.), Trang handled it all with patience and grace.

She supported every detail of the party—from working with our band, sound, and lighting crew, to helping us select tablecloth and napkin colors, to curating the canapé and dinner menus at The Bluffs and the Oval party area. She even helped my daughter with ordering balloon decorations, coordinated flower and stage design ideas to match our fun 70s theme, and hired a photographer last minute when we realized we needed one.

Throughout the process, Trang was professional, responsive at all hours, and always smiling. It truly felt like she cared for our event as if it were for her own family.

Thanks to her and the staff at The Grand Ho Tram, I had a birthday celebration I’ll remember for the rest of my life.

If you're planning any kind of special event and want it done right at a stunning beach resort, I highly recommend The Grand Ho Tram—and especially Miss Trang Nguyen.

Excellent customer service, room clean and spacious. The kids love the pools and kid club. There are cinema, casino and golf course. Suitable for family to relax. The location was perfect and peaceful at night. Definitely come back.
