I had to travel to Gurgaon India do to business and stayed there for around 2 months; one factor that helped me to stay that long in India was the hotel; the infrastructure is excellent and the staff is amazing, they really made feel at home; I only have gratitude for the staff in general.

From quality of airport transfer, reception, concierge, spa, comfort of the room. Excellent room service (food and delivery attitude) - consistent good service by everyone. Great team work.

Excellent Stay

Crowne Plaza Gurgaon is a wonderful hotel. Everything was great here, rooms, spa, lobby area. Room was actually quite luxurious with top class amenities and features. There are few minor things that I would like to highlight, and I believe it is easy to fix

1. Internet: it is complimentary for priority club members and corporate bookings. However they provide basic internet which is like 1Mbps. Even premium internet is just about 4Mbps. Since this hotel is primarily a business focused hotel, high speed internet is very important, as it is difficult to conduct video conference at this speed.

2. At the time of check-out, for some reason I was transferred from my original room to a dummy room, and bill settlement was done on that dummy room. Due to this process, I missed out on few priority club promotion points. I called up front office after that and was promised a call back to resolve this matter, but nobody called me back.

3. Breakfast spread was very good, however it was too oily. Potato rosti, Paratha etc. were full of oil. Crowne plaza could improve on this. Other things were yummy though

4. Though there was a pillow menu, and I was impressed with it, pillows provided in the room were too soft. And when requested for a different pillow, it took almost an hour to get it.

Great hotel

We arrived after a long trip from touring in Agra and were delighted with we saw. Check in was quick and the service of the all the staff was very good. When we went to our room we were really happy. It was large and clean and great views (we were on the 7th floor). Being wedding season each night we saw a different wedding each night but never really heard the noise which was great. The staff were so helpful and attentive and so friendly they made me feel very special. Not a lot of hotels do that. The only down side was the Brazillian restaurant. Again the staff were excellent but the food was ok not great but the cost of the wine was over the top. I know that drinks are always overpriced in hotels and wine is especially marked up to a ridiculous manner in Asian countries but this was ridiculous. I have to recommend the young man that served us though he also had to deal with an incredibly rude man sitting next to us who made our dinner a nightmare as well but the waiter conducted himself with grace and a smile. Well done!
