Nice Rooms, Needs Better menu/food quality

I would not dine there again for dinner menu. Too expensive for not great food. There are much better local restaurants in this general area. Room service's best item is the Roasted Turkey BLT sandwich. Everything else I tried was not very good.

Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. Every staff member I encountered was very personable and helpful. Disappointed that there are no food or beverage options onsite between the hours of 2pm and 4:30pm.

If you want a dirty room.....

The hotel was easy to find and has plenty of parking. Things seem pretty up to date and fairly clean from the outside although someone's dog poop was just hanging out in the parking lot (I obviously blame the dog owner here). The front desk person was cordial and got me checked in pretty quickly although never acknowledged my Platinum status. I headed up to my room and....

I start wondering if someone else is staying here. First I notice that the pillows are not on the beds they way I would expect to seem them. The throw pillows are both on one bed and there are a few pillows just hanging out on a bench. There are rooms keys sitting on the table and a random hanger on top of the fridge. I then went into the bathroom.... there was a bar soap wrapper on the floor, used q tips on the counter along with a used bar of soap. Toilet paper roll was messy and then the shower.... yup, bar soap with nasty body hair and used shampoo in the tub. The tub was also not cleaned. I called the front desk who offered to have someone come clean it, but being almost 12:30 in the morning and having traveled for 16 hours I couldn't handle a cleaning. So they sent someone up to essentially get rid of the garbage. I was offered a discount but since I was traveling for work there would have been no benefit for my inconvenience. And he said ok and have a nice night. (I was not offered breakfast, points, anything else at all). He did say he would contact the GM but I was never approached after that point. If I am in the area, I will not be staying at this place again. There are a lot of hotels in the area that would gladly take our money.

Dear JustMe1978 Thank you for bringing the details of your recent stay to our attention. We are really sorry that you did not have the type of experience you should expect at a Crowne Plaza. Travelling on business is often-times difficult and frustrating. The last thing you should have to deal with at the end of your day is a less than perfect hotel stay. In reading your comments, it is clear to me that you were checked into a room that had not been cleaned by housekeeping following the previous guest’s stay. Given the systems we have in place, checking a guest into a room that has not been cleaned is nearly impossible to do, but somehow it happened. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. I wish we would have made this right for you while you were here. I do know that our General Manager has made a couple of attempts to reach you. Please contact me directly if there is anything we may do to rectify the situation at this point in time. Again, we are sorry we fell short in delivering the type of hotel experience you deserve after such a long day of travels. Fine if you don't exercise

They no longer have an off site gym. If you work out with weights you will be disappointed.

Their decision was quite unexpected, and we really apologize for any inconvenience their decision has caused. Caring Staff, Excellent Service, Average Surroundings

The manager of this hotel was exceedingly gracious when we explained to her that we needed an extended stay due to a family member in hospice care. She and her staff were wonderful to us throughout the stay. While the hotel itself is in need of some renovation, we recommend it on the basis of this caring staff: From the manager on down to the housekeeping folks.
