Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MY FAVOURITE HOTEL IN LIVERPOOL We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely, the room was spacious and well-equipped. The breakfasts were superb with a wonderful choice every day. The central location meant we were able to get to all parts of the city within just a few minutes. Holiday Inn offers all you could wish for and I will certainly be going back again in future. June 15, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OK Generally, but trouble with the internet Stayed at the Hi for two nights for business. Overall the hotel was actually quite nice having been recently refurbished. Dinner was OK but nothing special, but the English breakfast was nice with decent quality sausages. The only problem was the internet, which dropped regularly during my stay and was a big problem as I needed a reliable connection to my work VPN. When I complained to reception they tried to address the issue by having someone from Acentic, their provider, call me directly and make some changes to settings (to the wifi for my room, not to my laptop), but unfortunately that did not fix it. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Feature Room not worth the extra money for a parttion? Arrived at the hotel checked in and went to my feature room? Stated as having an separate study area. it was the most depressing square box I have had the misfortune to see in a hotel. Desk on one side with a one sad looking chair in the middle of a empty room. The bedroom was restricted in size due to this separate study as it is partitioned off. Do not expect a suite like experience as the TV is in the Bedroom and can only be watched when lying in bed. Thankfully there were road works outside at 2300, making an awful noise, a staff member agreed to move me, (sorry did not get your name) he did state that they had no other feature rooms available but could move me to a standard double. I agreed as it could not be any more depressing then the original room and it must be a lot quieter. What a surprise this standard double had all the same furniture laid out as a standard hotel room and looked a million dollars in comparison to the "Feature Room" Clean Hotel, good staff but save your money and just book a standard room June 10, 2016
