Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel --Good location Overall I give this hotel high marks. A couple comments: my room was not made up the the following day but perhaps that was because I was working in the AM in my room. Also, only 1 bar of soap and I had to share it for the shower and bathroom sink. Not a huge deal but I was paying quite a bit for the room. That said it is a nice hotel and very clean. Consistent then with my view of IHG hotels. October 1, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Small, clean room without fridge It is a nice place to stay, the room is small but clean. Bathroom is like right there after you stand up from the side of your bed and very small too. I have stayed in Manhattan with bigger room, but it is cozy and clean, so that make up for it. For 2 people, with just one bed, I think it will look alot better. I used points and cash for my stay, but with that, I was annoyed to find no mini fridge in the room. If I had to pay full price for those days, I would be really unhappy. Otherwise, the staff is very nice and accommodating. September 30, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Sadly no King Kong! This was our first time to New York so we were very excited for this holiday! Our day didn't get off to the best of starts with our flights being delayed so by the time we got to the hotel after many hours of being awake the first thing we wanted to do was get some sleep. Despite arriving in our mid-sleep state the staff at the front desk were brilliant. To be honest they deserve a medal for putting up with me whilst i went through my bags trying to find ID. Trying to find something in a big bag whilst half asleep is basically mission impossible haha.BUT finally i found it, yay for me, the gentlemen at reception then turns to me and says "I see your a reward club member, and as a little thank you for choosing us we have upgraded your room so you are on the empire state building side of the hotel" might not be word for word but you get the idea, great guy! Me being my cynical British self thought there is probably a massive down side to this. You don't get anything for nothing? I was expecting maybe we would just about be able to see the top of the empire state building or something like that. But it turns out you do get something for nothing with IHG. As the photos show it was an amazing view, especially at night with it being lit up every single night, was just amazing!!! If you are ever in New York, for a weekend or a week or even a month i couldn't highly enough recommend a better or nicer hotel to stay in for the value being offered. Because of this stay we have decided to go back again next year so hopefully we'll see all the staff next year when we return. Many thanks IHG. September 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Would not return Tiniest room - ridiculous price. Holes in sheets and anybody could step on the elevator and go up to any floor! Some of the people hanging out in the outside lounge area in front of the hotel would have put me off if I had not had a reservation. Will not use this hotel again and would not recommend.
