I have enjoyed my stays and have experienced very few problems. The staff has always remedied any issues in short order except for one. That is on a few occasions the internet service was slow. This was probably because of the Holiday Inn being full. Besides that all my stays have been enjoyable. November 23, 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by New management and change of policies. Not all for the better. The changes and policies put in place by the new management. Last time I stayed at this hotel earlier this year, and for the past several years I've stayed there, the management and policies were way better. Here are the changes to the policies and new changes made I don't like: 1) No more to-go boxes for breakfast buffet. I do this because I don't have time to sit in the restaurant and eat due to work. 2) Dinner included with my company room rate. I used to have 3 choices for dinner every night. That is now gone. It is now this "buffet" that runs from 530pm to 730pm. The one night I was able to go to the "buffet dinner", salad, pasta, and pizza were served. You could tell it was all processed frozen food (except the salad) that was just heated/cooked. I liked having freshly prepared dinner choices because sometimes I get back from work as late as 11pm and liked to be able to call in my order before the restaurant closes at 10pm and pick it up when I return to the hotel. Also, the food quality was a lot better than the buffet dinner. Other negatives include the very old towels that need to be changed (some of them have easily visible stains and/or are clearly worn out). Soap and shampoo are too overpowering with fragrance. The HVAC units are old and very noisy. Room furniture is also older and antiquated. As for the positives with the new changes made to the hotel since new management took over, I do like the new updated LED lighting used outside the hotel and in the lobby/restaurant area. Also nice that coffee and water is available around the clock in the lobby. Lastly, the ability to order breakfast to order instead of the buffet (breakfast is included with our corporate room rate). Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Some Staff issues I had shipped about 12 boxes ahead of my stay. When I received a notice they had arrived I called the hotel to verify. Upon calling, an employee who at this time I won't name, told me she had signed for it and that it was present and would be waiting for me. Once I arrived I was told by her that I had only two boxes. When I told her I spoke with her previously she denied that she told me she singed for any other boxes for me. I had to go back to my room and find the signature, which ended up in fact being hers. At that point she stated she had no idea where they were. She even told me in a sarcastic tone, "It was very busy on that day I can't keep track of everything going on at once." The boxes were eventually found and had been misplaced in the maintenance area. I had dinner that night in the restaurant and had an amazing service. However the next morning I had breakfast it was a completely different story. The servers were just standing in the corner and gossiping with each other. At one point I believe the a manager on duty, African american gentleman, came over to order some food directly from the kitchen. He acknowledged me but decided to join the two girls and chit chat. I had no option but to choose the buffet and never once was offered a drink. I never asked for one as I felt I shouldn't have to. November 9, 2015
