When we travel we like rooms that are spacious and with lots of amenities. This room met that requirement except for the lack of a chair to sit and read in.
Otherwise we will stay at this hotel again.

Excellent hotel well suited to a trip up Highway 1. Friendly staff and good facilities as expected of a Holiday Inn.

Nice large room with comfortable seating to watch TV. Wireless internet could be easier to use but worked well once I used a Google browser instead of IE Explorer. Would definately stay here again.

I am a long time IHG member and I use their credit card, traveling weekly. This is the WORST experience I have ever had at any hotel. Bar none. They put me into a room directly next to a highway. The fan on high, TV on high volume, etc. could not drown out the noise, so I asked for a different room. Staff (a young, high school age woman) was very rude - said she would call back but never did. I went to the front desk to request a room - the same young woman said no rooms, although I noticed in my long wait for service that 5 or 6 men checked in to their rooms. I asked about this, and the woman rudely pointed out that they were paying more than me! Of course, the only reason they paid more is that I am an IHG member with an advanced pay discount. I noticed the young woman was very nice to the men. I left. NO refund, of course, and no manager could be contacted, sorry. Female travelers, be aware you are not welcome here. IHG did contact me to try to help the next day. But, I can't really express how this made me feel. Pretty bad. And I'm used to business travel, so I get that problems come up...this was way way over the limit.

I have explained more than once to staff that since the remodel of last year there is a lack of seating for in-room dining. You provide a refrigerator, sink, and in-room food service, however, there is only one place to sit and eat. That is at the desk. If there is more than one person eating they have to sit and juggle food on the beds.

Had key card problems 3 times in a row. On one occasion, it was after midnight and the staff could not get me into my room. They asked me to sleep in another room until the maintenance guy showed up at 7:00 a.m. I had a flight the next day, so this was not acceptable. They called the maintenance guy into the hotel around 12:30 and the problem turned out to be batteries in the key lock.
