First time staying at an Avid hotel. Stayed 2 nights. Lots of desk space. No keurig, cups, microwave in the rooms but all available in the lobby. Great for short business travel. Friendly staff and clean room!

I booked this hotel last minute after leaving a convention in Atlanta. The weather was bad and didn't want to drive any further. This was right off the highway but very quiet. It was easy to get to my room. Check in and out were smooth. The staff were very nice and helpful. My room was cool when I arrived and it was clean. I had a peaceful stay.

This hotel is in a great location near so many things! I went to the Monastery of the Holy Spirit that’s only 15 mins away. I was passing through to Florida and they gave me a lil goody bag with snacks for my bday! All the hotel staff were super nice and welcoming. The room was clean, inviting and modern and very comfortable bed.

My recent stay at this hotel while not the worst, was definitely not the best. Check in was relatively easy and not problematic. This issue was my wife used a service animal and when advised of this, the young lady at the front desk proceeded to ask if the animal had “their vest” to which I replied no, they’re not required by federal or state law. She then asked if we had the dogs certification showing she was a service dog. I again stated “no, as no such documentation exists nor is it required.” I further informed her that anyone who presents such documentation merely “purchased it off the internet and is trying to pass their pet off as a service animal.” She shrugged her shoulders and dropped it.
Now this hotel is a pet friendly hotel, so I really don’t see the issue with the questions but I’m happy to address them.
The room was nice, beds were comfortable but the “stomping” of the guests above us was a bit unnerving, but we made do.
Breakfast was a bit of a let down from what I’m used to at other IHG properties.
Overall I would use this hotel again if I’m back in the area. Prices were decent and hotel was clean.

I had previously stayed at several other hotels in Conyers and woke up all through the night with leg cramps because of an uncomfortable bed. I was so happy that I had a wonderful night sleep at Avid. The staff are very accommodating. The room was comfortable and simple making it very relaxing for us. The fresh ground coffee was a delightful treat with a variety of teas and hot chocolate. There is also a good variety of a breakfast food options. I loved my stay and will certainly return.

The staff is extremely nice. It's a very simple hotel and fine for one night stay. Breakfast is ok and could have better options. Coffee is really weak, basically water. The pillows are horrible. Flat as a pancake. Our AC didn't not work, just blew cool air but never got cold enough to sleep even when I turned down to 60, no soap in bathroom, could be cleaner.

Every thing was good I would have enjoyed it even more if the had more diabetic friendly breakfast options. I guess next time I’ll ask the staff for more options that will accommodate my health condition.

Everything was excellent. Location was easy to access, the hotel is clean and the price can't be beat. The biggest problem for me is that they are pet friendly and people friendly.
Only cons: no coffee pot and strange TV set up. Both are extremely minor. The coffee downstairs is fresh ground and excellent.
Avid: to earn a 5, just ensure hot water works at bathroom sink.
