Hall carpets dirty, walked barefoot in room first night and feet were dirty, wore shoes rest of visit, bathroom floor after bathing and stepping on bath mat., bath mat was filthy from the floor, vinyl flooring in room.
No place to hang clothing, no drawers in sight.. had to leave clothing in the suitcase.
I didn't get points for being a IHG member.
Be carefull with the Do Not Disturb magnet

If you leave the Do Not Disturb magnet on the door at the beginning of the day (before 10AM) nobody will clean your room, make your beds or change towels. It seems that they only verify the sign once a day, and you must take off the sign before you go to sleep...
Pool was horrible

Room smelled too strong of cleaners. Pool room was not fit to be in. Eyes watered from clorine odors.

Loved this hotel. My first time at an Avid. This particular one was great all around and made extra special by the friendly knowledgeable staff!

This Hotel is in a great location to the Shopping malls/outlets, restaurants, Sight and Sound Theatre, and other Amish experiences! We enjoyed our stay here and was able to go where we needed to go. The hotel staff were helpful and frendly. They granted our every request!
Pool not heated and breakfast not the best

The pool is not heated, and the breakfast was not the best for hot food, not hot and very limited. You can hardly hear the music in the pool area, which we had to ask the manager to turn it up. The room we stayed in, needs a new mattress and it needs a new battery for the fire alarm. Other than that for the price, it was OK. But if you want to be closer to amish outlets, I will look for a different hotel. This hotel is good if you want to be on the highway and by the mall area.

My room smelled like pee on day one
The room was not cleaned after I requested for it to be multiple times
There was a person running back and forth the whole time during our stay , we reported it and nothing was done.

Everyone I met at this hotel was so kind and pleasant. I have stayed at more expensive hotels and this was far superior! I will recommend to everyone!
Nightmare experience

After a billing discrepancy (got an email quoting one price, front desk charged almost $50 more) that was not able to be handled at the front desk, I called customer service and only got more frustrated. But when I got to the room, there were bugs squashed on the outside of the window and the inside window screen. On top of all that, the fire alarm went off at 6 am, I called the front desk and got no answer. Come to find out, bacon got burned.
Definitely a nightmare experience, don’t reccomend.

I would first like to say that every single staff member I encountered was very kind and polite. They worked diligently to complete their tasks at hand. The rest of my review most likely revolves around the lack of resources and staffing provided by upper management to the customer-facing staff. Daily housekeeping does not occur. No trash bags in trash cans and trash not emptied. Took own trash to dumpster twice. Must go to front desk for clean linens. Bedding was never changed during a 5 day stay. Shower flooded entire bathroom floor with each use, even when blocked with towels. Awakened by fire alarms during stay and immediately went to the main floor to exit. Staff acted as though nothing had happened. No verbal confirmation of lack of fire or issues.

I had 2 rooms reserved, check in was 3pm. we arrived at 3:15 and neither room were ready. our rooms were not ready until 3:50 and 4:20. hotel lobby was filled with guests waiting for rooms to be ready. we went out for evening and came back to one of the rooms key fobs not working, and voices being heard in the room. They registered new guests into our room!!! We were told by staff that if was a mistake by housekeeping that they didn't check off that room was occupied after cleaning it, and I was told by GM it was a system glitch with computers being down. It was a HORRIBLE experience. I would never stay here again.

Very pleasant to look at very warm feel to it and I love that they have a quiet time between 10 pm and the am hours love it. The staff was great and greeted me nicely.
