One of the “Seven Wonders of the World”-Great Wall was built by Qin Shi Huangemperor to prevent invasion by the Huns. The total length is about 6,350 kilometers, the height is 7 to 8 meters and width is between 5.8 and 6.5 meters.Badaling section is more than 1,000 meters above the sea level, and the overall view is inspiring. So this wall is the first thing that comes to the minds of most tourists when they think of visiting Beijing. Badaling is 70 kilometers away from the hotel.

Tiananmen Square, where almost all people visiting Beijing never fail to visit, is significant in recent Chinese history as well as in more ancient history. With a total area of 400,000 square meters, the square, in the heart of downtown Beijing, is the largest in the world.

Wangfujing intersects with East Chang’an Avenue. It has a history of more than 100 years. The street, which is less than one kilometre long, is lined with shops. The Sun Dong An Plaza is one of the largest shopping centers in Beijing. It covers a business floor space of 100,000 square metres and sells more than 200,000 kinds of goods. The Oriental Plaza, which is considered a new landmark in Beijing, stands just by the south entrance of Wangfujing.

The most prosperous place in old Beijing. Now, Qianmen and Dashila have been reconstructed, with re-launched old brands and famous international brands. Qianmen area becomes landscape in Beijing again, liked by visitors both international anddomestic.

The National Stadium also known as “bird’s nest”, is the main stadium of the 29th Olympic Games in 2008. Occupying an area of 21 hectares, it has a floor space of 258,000 square meters. Its seating capacity amounts to 91,000, including 11,000 temporary seats. After the Olympics, the stadium becomes a large-scale sports and entertainment facility for the residents of Beijing – an architectural landmark and Olympic legacy.
