One of the most gorgeous examples of Baroque architecture in Mexico is less than a kilometer from the hotel. In downtown Chihuahua, the Cathedral boasts two 131-foot bell towers, an impressive dome, marble altars and Venetian crystal chandeliers.
No Chihuahua vacation is complete without a trip to Copper Canyon. You can take a train from Chihuahua to the Sierra Tarahumara, where days of excitement await. See the 246-m Basaseachic waterfall and the massive Peña Del Gigante, an 885-meter monolith.
While staying at our hotel in Chihuahua, be sure to tour the city on the Trolley el Tarahumara. It goes to all the major museums and points of interest, including the park, El Palomar, which is home to one of the largest flags in Mexico and many statues.
Pancho Villa once lived in what is now the Quinta Luz Museum. Here you can see artifacts from his life, including the car he was assassinated in, pictures of important events and even his furnished bedroom. It's a perfect stop on your Chihuahua vacation.
