Bear Lake has earned the moniker “Caribbean of the Rockies,” and for good reason. The crystal-clear blue water is as inviting—if not as warm—as the beaches of the Caribbean. Rent a kayak or canoe to paddle the lake, or swim along the pristine shores. You can even rent a water trampoline from Bear Lake Funtime! While you’re on the lake, boat back and forth between Idaho and Utah if you want—the lake is split almost evenly between the two states!

Hike, mountain bike, or drive your way to the summit of Mount Logan while you’re staying at our Logan, Utah hotel! You’ll have to use an off-road vehicle if you wish to drive the trail to the top, though. At 9,714 feet in elevation, Mount Logan has one of the more prominent peaks in the Wasatch Range with stunning views of Cache Valley, the Bear River Range, and even the Great Salt Lake Basin on a clear day.
