It is the closest beach to the port, making it the most frequented by local people and tourists. It is a white sand beach formed by the fragmentation of shells, a small colony of friendly sea lions brighten the environment, it is the only beach that has restaurants offering delicious local food and refreshing drinks.

Spend the day on stunning Punta Carola Beach on San Cristóbal island. The estimated time of the tour is approximately 30 minutes, the interpretation center provides detailed information on the formation of the islands and their history in general. There are three viewpoints with an incredible view of nature, there is also a small cove where you can enter the sea. It is one of the only places where you can see both species of frigatebirds nesting in the same colony. Another viewpoint provides a panoramic view of the north coast of the island.

Explore Kicker Rock, or Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, one of the most famous sights in the Galapagos Islands. Rising 148 meters out of the ocean, the extinct volcanic cone that resembles a sleeping lion is home to many bird species and sea lions. The channel between the two rock formations is an excellent spot for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, and spotting sea turtles, tropical fish, Galapagos and Hammerhead sharks.

This "galapaguera" has been built to improve the status of the island's tortoise population, within an environment with conditions similar to their natural state. In the visitor center, the natural history of the population of giant tortoises on this island (Geochelone chatamensis) is explained, as well as the relationship and differences between the tortoises of San Cristóbal and the other tortoises of the archipelago, in terms of origin and evolution. The access is by car.

It is located 24 km away from Puerto Baquerizo Moreno and a few kilometers from the Breeding Center next to Cerro Colorado. Access is by land, you must take a taxi, in approximately 45 minutes you will reach a path that is easily accessible to anyone, from where you must walk 15 minutes to reach the white sand beach that is very fine to the touch, it is an excellent site for recreation and rest, it is an ideal place to observe seabirds feeding. Learn about the natural history of the giant San Cristóbal tortoises and their differences from the rest of the archipelago, and shop for locally made handicrafts at the stores within the reserve.

Hike to Tijeretas Hill and see the famous colony of frigate birds. A short distance from Port Baquerizo Moreno, the hill offers several overlooks where you can take in the breathtaking sights of nature and panoramic views of the north coast of the San Cristóbal Island. Walk down to the small cove and go snorkeling and swimming in the sea. Learn about the Galapagos archipelago and its volcanic origins at the Museum of Natural History and the Charles Darwin Interpretation Centre.
