This hotel was the highlight of our trip

This hotel went above and beyond our expectations, from the moment we checked in we knew this stay was going to be amazing, I can’t recommend this hotel enough, the staff were excellent and 5 star service is not enough it was more like 10 star, they were friendly and prompt and nothing was too much, the staff especially on the rooftop top pool were great, we didn’t catch their names but specifically the 3 men that were working between the 28th July and 4th August, they made the experience of the rooftop bar exceptionally enjoyable, always had smiles on there faces and greeted us every time day with such enthusiasm, would also like to add straven from the Lumi bar was so professional yet so friendly he had the time to chat to us and added to the experience of the Lumi bar, he made us feel so welcomed and always had a smile on his face
The room was a large sized room and newly renovated, the bed was probably the comfiest bed we’ve experienced in a hotel and this was the first hotel we’ve stayed in where the air con was effective and really helped with the heat
The balcony was a lovely size with chairs and table to relax
The housekeeping were so friendly and always greeted with a smile on their face
The reception staff were also friendly and polite and always had time for a chat and a few laughs along the way
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel, from the luxurious hotel itself to the most friendliest staff

Rarely write a review, but this was just below any standards I know from IHG in this price bracket. Pool service non-existent, restaurant staff untrained and uncoordinated. Reception’s motto is probably “overpromise, underdeliver”.

Spent a week at the Voco with my young family. The room was amazing and the staff were so kind to my family. Amazing facilities and amenities. Food was always perfect and would definitely recommend to all.

We spent 5 wonderful days in July at Voco Malta with our family. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with professionalism and kindness, and the check-in process was quick and smooth despite the late hour.
Our room was spacious, modern, and very clean – the perfect place to relax after a day full of exploring. The hotel pool was our 11-year-old’s favorite spot, and the area around it offered us peaceful and enjoyable moments to unwind.
The Lumi restaurant offers plenty of dining options in a pleasant and well-organized setting. The breakfast was very tasty and varied – a great way to start each day.
The hotel staff were attentive, polite, and always ready to help. The location is excellent, situated in the vibrant heart of St. Julian’s, near St. George’s Bay beach, providing easy access to various attractions in Malta.
I wholeheartedly recommend Voco Malta to anyone looking for a modern, clean, and welcoming hotel for a family vacation. It was a beautiful and relaxing experience that we would gladly repeat!

Очень красивый отель, удобное месторасположение, рядом есть все, что нужно. Новый, современный и стильный дизайн.
Персонал очень приветливый и дружелюбный. В особенности хочу поблагодарить Вячеслава, за тёплый прием. Он подсказал нам все интересные локации, где покушать, что посетить. Так же хочу поблагодарить бармена из Колумбии, очень веселый, общительный и интересный.
В целом рекомендую этот отель сейчас всем, и многие уже хотят приехать к вам =)

Negatives:
1. Location: This is neither a good location for tourism nor for business travel. I was visiting Malta for a conference but also took a couple of days to explore around and the location was far from all points of interest as well as the venues where conferences are held.
You only want to be here if you are loyal to the IHG brand.
2. My Stay:
-Booked a suite, received standard room ✓ (the benefits of being Diamond)
-Got woken up with faulty fire alarm at 6am ✓
-Worst bedding and pillows you'll ever sleep on ✓ (I had better pillows at £10/night hostels)
The only redeeming thing and the reason this is a two star and not a one star review is the breakfast, both the quality of the ingredients and the staff there were excellent.
