The front staff were very friendly and courteous. The lobby was clean and welcoming. Unfortunately, that’s where it stopped being nice.
I was place right next to the elevator which, is in my preferences not to be. I let that go because the hotel was not even close to full and thought it wouldn’t be an issue.
The worst part was that the room had the worst pet odor! Normally, I would go down and ask for another room. However, I was traveling with my sister who is severely disabled and it is difficult to change courses. We were also both very tired and only staying the night. Sorry, I will not be back.

Wonderful beds, will stay again in the future

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Avid in Hattiesburg MS. Due to the nature of our visit we didn't really have time to check out all of the amenities the hotel offered, but the beds were very comfortable, the rooms were clean and decorated nicely, and the breakfast that we were able to take a quick look at one morning seemed like a good selection.

Our only issue was that, after our first night's stay we found out that the room's air conditioning didn't work properly. It would cut on for a bit then cut off after a little while, then had to be manually turned on again at the unit itself, the wall thermostat couldn't communicate to it or something. But, the front desk associate that we talked to, Dakota, was quick to check it over and try a possible solution, and when it turned out that did not work he was able to change us to a different room without any hassle. He did an amazing job and was super nice.

Already mention my issue earlier about housekeeping n shower pressor very low n in breakfast could have been little for vegetarian people. Like plain biscuits.

Everyone is so nice. The rooms always clean never had a problem when I stay here. Must hotels I have been to in hattiesburg had hair in the bed strains on sheets, my daughter bite by bedbugs & tub dirty. So this hotel is alway my go to.

Clean room, respectable staff and it was a comfortable stay with family.

I was very pleased with my business stay. I found everything suitable. I had been a long time Best Western lodger, but I think its time for a change.

Loved the hotel experience. I would visit again and stay here. The overall breakfast was great. The housekeeping service was awesome. Overall it wasn’t a bad experience, I did have AC issues. I do recommend hotel stay.

Housekeeping management needs to be investigated. Dirty and contaminated rooms. Front desk agent had to move me twice before getting a decent room. Found crawling worm in first bathroom. Second bath mildew infested in ac unit. Smelled horribly on third floor. Have to go all the way downstairs to use microwave. Needed to look at what the place had to offer more thoroughly. I would have never though this hotel would have been in this condition.

Over multiple years of staying here, I have always need greeted by friendly staff. The entire hotel is neat and clean. Rooms are as described and comfortable. Kitchen staff went above and beyond this past stay on meeting a specific need we had. The first place I look for available rooms when staying here.

My daughter and I stayed for the weekend because she was participating in the Miss Hospitality Pageant. We felt safe during our stay at the hotel. Check-in was very easy, and the front desk staff was friendly and answered any questions we had. My only complaint was that there was only 1 luggage cart for the hotel. Other than that, our weekend was great.

Check in and out … quick and easy. Super friendly staff. Loved the grab and go breakfast … perfect for us & great selections. We travel frequently and this was THE best hotel we’ve experienced in a while. Highly recommend.
