Simple things made hard

I’d like to leave an overall 1 star due to how impossible it was to do a simple thing like tv streaming. I’ve done it countless times at other hotels. This hotel was special in that our tv couldn’t understand how to stream. The maintenance person was no help. The front desk lady was rude and eventually changed our room due to being unable to fix the tv issue. Unbelievable but the 2nd room had a tv that didn’t know how to stream either! The maintenance man couldn’t help. We gave up. I definitely won’t be back. Lost a lot of respect for IHG hotels after this.

The room is small but efficient. If you are staying multiple days, you likely will have a hard time with storage as there are no dresser drawers and only a couple of cubbies to put clothes. No closets at all, just a coupl of hangers on hooks on the wall. No carpeting which seems to cause an issue with the bed frame making noises as you sit/move around on the bed. On a major road but road noise is loud.

I thought the hotel was clean, cost effective, contemporary, and provided great service. I just missed having a closet to hang my clothes or at least some drawers.

I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway. Yes, the room was pretty small but it was very clean and comfy!
The bathroom and shower were lovely with a beautiful walk-in shower with a heavy glass door. And, surprisingly, lots of counter space!
My one complaint: there are no dressers or drawers or any place to put your clothes, other than a couple of wall hooks. There are a couple of surfaces to set a suitcase or two, but you will definitely be living out of a suitcase. It was just me so it wasn't a big deal, but more than one person for more than a couple of days might get messy, quick!
The bed and pillows were comfy. A/C (and heat..it got chilly at night!) worked great.
Breakfast was fine. Hot grab and go breakfast sandwiches, fruit, granola bars, cereal, oatmeal. Enough to hold you over until lunch.
The hotel is close to everything and easy to get in and out when there isn't road construction blocking roads... not the hotel's fault!
I would definitely stay here again!

I booked this hotel for a last minute trip to the Dells. I'm a travel advisor (Champion Travel) and I am picky on where I stay. I am also doing research for my clients wherever I go. This hotel was top notch in all areas! I was able to check in early upon arrival. Front desk staff was SO kind. My room was clean and comfortable, my bed was great, breakfast had so many options for grab and go. I'm very impressed and will absolutely recommend this hotel to clients.

This hotel is perfect for someone that doesn’t need a lot of anything. No luxury but very convenient. The bed and pillow are super comfortable! No swimming pool and breakfast is grab n’ go, nothing fancy. I will definitely go back with my husband, I don’t think I will stay with my kids…

Hotel was nice and clean. Nice front desk staff. Close to the movie theater and restaurants. Was in a peaceful area. Great roof top for guests. I had a good time. Bathroom was clean with Dove bath soap and lotion. Small mini fridge but it did the job.
The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep.

The hotel was renovated and looked amazing. The looks of the hotel were different compared with other hotels.

I attended a conference based at a waterpark, where of course rooms are quite expensive. As I didn't need those amenities, and preferred a quieter environment, I found this Avid Hotel to be a great alternative. Lobby and guest room were super clean, the staff were beyond gracious and friendly, and the cost of my two-night stay was less than half what it would have been at the other hotel. I will absolutely stay here again.
