Stayed at this hotel for a friends wedding out of town and it was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at, clean comfy and cozy. Breakfast smelled amazing but didn’t get a chance to try it just because of timing. Slept so well bed was super comfy.

Moving Back to Florida

This hotel location off of I-81 is a great stopping point for our final move back to Florida, a RED state.

Passing through and decided to try this place just on a whim. The hotel we generally stay at was next door, but the outside of the building was so clean and inviting. LOVED everything about it... friendly staff from beginning to end... everything was spotless. Well laid out hotel and rooms. Everything you need...my husband and I were so pleasantly surprised...we enjoyed our stay sooo much more than what we've been experiencing at much more expensive places that have really dropped the ball lately... this place is top notch across the board. Avid will definitely be our first choice for our next stay.

We stayed one night at the Avid Hotel in Salem because my son had a baseball tournament close by. The staff at the desk was very friendly and check-in was quick. There's always coffee in the lobby which was nice! The room and the bathroom were very clean and the beds are comfortable. It was very quiet and we did not hear any noise through the night. The breakfast was filling, with scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, yogurts, bagels, fruits and an assortment of cereals. We will definitely stay here again if we are in need of a hotel in Salem!

This is a very nice hotel.good breakfast and a convenient room for a cat we traveled with. Overall it was a convenient stop and a clean abd comfortable hotel.

Avid was an excellent choice for us, and an excellent value with the bonus of nice folks and a great room. Easy access to the interstate to get us back on the road and our journey home.

Booked this for the first night of a road trip for my parents. They said the hotel was super convenient to the highway and they got special parking as Diamond Elite. The rooms were clean and they appreciated the wrapped and ready to grab breakfast items to continue their trip. They were so happy with the hotel that I booked it again for their way home.
