Good experience. Worst part was the breakfast but, overall... a nice stay.

Family stopped for an overnight stay on the way to Gulf Shores. We found the room to be expertly cleaned and breakfast in the morning was very good. Employees were very helpful as well.

The room was very comfortable and clean. One of the beds squeaked whenever it moved.
The breakfast had variety and there was plenty available for everyone to leave full. The staff in the morning were very friendly and helpful. The one who checked us in was not familiar enough with the new software to access my prior communication with another staff member. There was plenty of space to move around the room and bathroom. The hotel provided Dove products for every aspect of personal hygiene, and the shower was very high end (no bathtub, though).
There are a couple of outlets and USB ports on the night stand between the beds. There is plenty of light, but it would be nice for at least one of them to be softer.
There is a mini fridge, but it has no freezer, and there is no coffee maker or microwave in the room. But they do provide a couple benches, a chair and desk, an iron and ironing board, and a hair dryer. Also, coffee is available 24/7 in the lobby.
Great Value for a clean and comfortable stay.

My family of 4 found this a great fit. Loved the non-carpeted rooms. Felt so clean. The bathroom was up to date and very clean. The AC kept up with us. The breakfast was tasty. Simple but I have had a lot worse. The AGM helped me print something very important and unexpected last minute. A life saver. I will recommend this place to anyone who needs a clean place to rest on their trip.

Hotel was fine. The staff was extremely rude. I would not recommend this location, spend a few more dollars for better service somewhere else.

Helpful and friendly staff. Room and bathroom were larger than I expected. Workout facility met my needs. Room rate was significantly cheaper than other nearby properties. Location right off I-24 was super convenient.

Hotel location is good and it’s a clean place. Breakfast is very minimal. However, I will never choose or recommend this hotel. We arrived after a concert at just after midnight. The occupants above us sounded like they walked around their room all night. I wasn’t able to sleep my first 2 nights. The last night must have had different occupants as it was finally quiet until 5:47 am. I even used earplugs on night 2 but I could still hear footsteps constantly. Hotels need to go back to good construction with more concrete.

I recently stayed at the Avid Hotel in Smyrna, Tennessee, and while the hotel itself was clean and well-kept — with impressively soft sheets and a cozy atmosphere — the real standout was the service. Kurt, the young gentleman working at the front desk during my stay, was one of the kindest and most genuinely helpful hotel staff members I’ve ever encountered. I spent quite a bit of time in the lobby and had the chance to watch him assist several guests — each time with a level of patience, politeness, and authenticity that really stood out. He wasn’t over the top, just consistently thoughtful and attentive in a way that felt real — not the typical “scripted” kind of nice you often see. While the bed itself could’ve been a little more supportive, the overall experience was wonderful thanks to how clean and welcoming the hotel was — and especially because of Kurt’s excellent service. I hope the management recognizes what a gem they have in him.
