If you intend on using your room stay for relaxation and amenities, don’t, that’s the point of this hotel. Spend more money for better quality. Beds are hard. The rooms have horrible acoustics. Echo so so bad. Not spectrum friendly in the least. Don’t bother with trying to hear the tv over the loud HVAC I couldn’t even turn off, in EITHER ROOM I stayed in on recent trip. I was moved to another room after discovering the unit in my room wasn’t even operational. They were aware of it, insisted on maintenance working in my room WHILE I WAS GONE to replace unit. Unacceptable. Unprofessional. I demanded another room. They put me in a handicap room on the 3rd floor. This unit wouldn’t shut off no matter what I set the thermostat on. It’s SO LOUD IN THESE ROOMS. no carpet. I never saw more than 10 vehicles in the parking area. EVER. Unclear on why the room availability was so poor and the choices were poorer.
The hotel is very clean. I’ll give them that. But it is not a comfortable stay. Front staff was very friendly, however.. they could only do so much with what they had to work with.
We are HOOKED on Avid!

We are loyal to the Holiday Inn Express brand but we were looking for something less expensive since we were only spending 1 night while visiting Graceland on our way to Orlando. I was a little skeptical due to the price point, but I trusted the IHG brand. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Such a nice, clean, and modern hotel! EXTREMELY CLEAN!! Room was perfect! Loved the DOVE brand products in the room and the shower was so nice! I’m telling you….it’s AVID for us from now on! I also want to put a shout out to Marcus at the front desk. It’s nice to have someone at the front desk with a friendly attitude and personality greeting guests. It made a wonderful first impression! Thank you Avid for a wonderful first stay of many!

The staff of this hotel, particularly Marcus and Shirley, are wonderful and make you feel at home. They took care of me and the entire staff was very helpful and welcoming. The room I had was very quiet and I felt comfortable and safe. The bed was comfortable and the location was fantastic. The breakfast choices were perfect for me. I highly recommend this hotel!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights.And it was an awesome experience. The staff was excellent very friendly very helpful and very attentive. The clean liness of the hotel itself was exceptional.I was surprised when I walked in and the hotel smelled clean awesome job.

The hotel is a little dated. Breakfast is just something to put on your stomach. The hotel staff wasn't to helpful answering questions or even providing additional towels. The room is basic and the bed was okay.

Very friendly desk clerk on duty when we arrived. This was a passing through stay so didn't need any frills. Clean comfortable room. We appreciated the fact that we were on the first floor. My buddies mentioned that the orange juice didn't taste very good. I asked them about Diamond Elite parking; he said they have the signs, just hadn't installed them yet. But we were able to park close to the front door.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean. The halls were clean. Everything was clean. The service was excellent.

This was one of the quietest and cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. From quality bathroom products and a consistent hum of the AC to a friendly and helpful staff, everything combined made it an almost perfect one night stay. The only negative I have is probably out of their control. The smoke detector has a blinking light that I could see with my eyes closed. It was like a lightning-filled stormy night.
I’d definitely seek out other Avid hotels in the future.

Positives: Location is great - close to restaurants and shopping but tucked on quiet street. Front desk staff was very friendly. Beds were comfortable.
Negatives: Despite my room preferences and being a loyal IHG traveler, we were placed in a room right by the back door on the first floor. At least it was a soft close door. But it sounded like we had elephants overhead. Toilet wasn't fully attached to floor, shower wall treatment was cracked, water pressure was terrible, air conditioning never got quite cold enough for me. Breakfast attendant was jamming traffic in the very busy breakfast area asking for positive reviews.

Our check-in person was awesome and set the tone for our stay. Accommodations were clean and she made it inviting as well and made sure we had everything we needed. Very attentive and friendly.
