Saya tidak menyadari fasilitas baru yang berkilau ini begitu minimalis. Kamar "King Bed" dengan pemandangan teluk sangat kecil. Tidak ada lemari, tidak ada meja rias, tidak ada microwave, tidak ada pembuat kopi, TIDAK ADA ember es. Ada kaitan di dinding dan rak kecil untuk pakaian. Hanya satu kursi untuk kamar tersebut. "Pemandangan teluk" dari seberang jalan dengan biaya tambahan memang oke, tetapi kebisingan jalan sangat mengganggu. Sisi positifnya, semuanya sangat baru dan sangat bersih. Jika yang Anda butuhkan hanyalah tempat tidur untuk satu malam, akomodasi ini sudah mencakup kebutuhan dasar.

Sebagai anggota lama grup afinitas hotel lainnya, saya senang mengetahui bahwa Traverse City Avid dari grup IHG tidak hanya menawarkan harga yang jauh lebih baik, tetapi BANTAL yang JAUH lebih baik. Ya ampun -- harga ditambah bantal sama dengan tidur yang sempurna...DAN nilai.

Lagipula, bukankah sebagian besar masa inap di hotel dihabiskan untuk tidur?

Masa inap ini mendorong saya untuk beralih dari pemesanan Reward hotel lain yang sudah berlangsung puluhan tahun menjadi mempertimbangkan hotel IHG terlebih dahulu.

The only place to stay in Traverse City, Michigan. Lisa, Caroline, Mike, Ellsa, Sophia & the GM Mikala are awesome, had a one week stay extended to two weeks and they had no hesitation to accommodate my needs, When I come to Traverse City, MI in the future this is the ONLY HOTEL I will stay at, breakfast is great, cleanliness is WAY above the average standard.

Avid hotel was a great stay for us, same as 4 weeks ago. Good staff - good breakfast, far cry from our stay night before at Holiday Inn Express, Ludington, MI

Very Small rooms and a really small pool, wished it was bigger and have more seating. was kind of clean except for the glass on our floor that I stepped on. But liked the location was easy to walk to the beach and a couple restaurants.

Review Title: A Tale of Two Stays – Very Different Experiences

I recently stayed at two IHG properties in Michigan — one in Traverse City and one in Grand Rapids — and the experiences could not have been more different.

In Traverse City, the room was very small, almost “European style.” The dining experience also fell short: food options were limited and unusual, with items like bacon bits instead of the heartier breakfast I would expect. Considering the cost was quite high — nearly a third more than what I paid in Grand Rapids — the value simply wasn’t there.

By contrast, my stay in Grand Rapids was excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the food offerings were plentiful and generous. The overall experience felt welcoming and much more in line with what I’ve come to expect from IHG hotels.

In short, while Grand Rapids was a strong example of the quality and hospitality IHG is known for, Traverse City left me disappointed, especially given the higher price point. Consistency across locations is key, and I hope IHG takes this feedback to heart.

Hotel ini adalah salah satu hotel terbersih dan terbaik yang pernah saya dan istri saya masa inap di. Kamar dan tempat tidur sangat baik dalam desain, kenyamanan, dan kebersihan. kamar latihan juga bersih dan terawat dengan baik. Sarapan adalah luar biasa dan beragam. Staf sangat ramah. Salah satu fasilitasnya adalah jalur sepeda tepat di belakang hotel sehingga membuatnya menyenangkan untuk tidak harus bepergian dengan sepeda kami ke titik awal karena kami bisa naik dan pergi! Saya sangat merekomendasikan hotel ini!
