Arrived late, drove 12 hours. To get to a room with no AC the beds were not comfortable at all. More like full beds. Not queen. My husband and toddler and me fit on our queen at home. My husband and me could hardly fit on that bed. The reason why I booked the room was for a good hot breakfast.. very disappointed I will never be stopping at another IHG hotel.

My daughter's room had hair on the floor.
Our room had an automatic motion detector light in the bathroom only when you got in the shower it timed out and we kept having to open the shower door to get the light to turn back on. :-/

The rooms are very basic if that's ok with you. The breakfast is minimally ok.
Our room was relatively clean.

The only reason we were here is that the neighboring HI Express had a broken elevator. For at least two weeks because we had to stay here twice.

We really don't want to stay here or the neighboring HI Express either for that matter any more.

Spartan but nice

Clean, modern and fairly spartan hotel, good for one-night stays. There are limited desk space and surfaces to put things for longer stays. I liked the ubiquitous accessibility to items such as cups and plates. I would stay again.

Hotel was clean and comfy. The front desk was friendly on our arrival at 2am. Overall great stay and a great value. We didn’t utilize the breakfast as we slept in but there was still coffee which was great.

Everything was great.The lady at the Front Desk was very professional and attentive. Is a person to keep. I would rate a five overall, however, the only thing that I noticed was that the hallways and elevators were a bit messy with dirt spots all over (what a pitty considering that is a brand new facility). There were food wrappings just coming out from the elevators and on the way to the room. I understand that is hard to keep up some people that don't have basic manners. Either way it's not nice to see this, specially on a modern hotel such as this one. Please don't let it down.

Glasses in room. I came down and asked why we didn’t have glasses or ice bucket. She said not available.

This lady was alone and sitting on the couch eating her meal when we arrived. Did not look professional at all. Open food and drink sitting on the sofa table. Not very good since neither was offered on premises.

Hotel was nice. Very clean and comfortable. No coffee in room but they have coffee machine downstairs for a fresh cup anytime during. Water machine and ice downstairs too. No ice buckets. Plastic bag to fill with ice. This is my new “to go” place in Van Horn. Couldn’t hear the train!
