I love staying at the Staybridge Suites Hillsboro - Orenco Station when I'm visiting Portland to see my son who graduated from Lewis and Clark College and now works at Nike 12 minutes from the hotel. Not only is Jesus the manager and his staff amazing but I've come to expect the same GREAT EXPERIENCE "every time". There's a reason we've stayed there consistently over the past 5 years and especially when we're doing the longer than a week stays. Because it feels like home when we're there. Having a nearby Grocery Store, Food Spots and shops also add to the reasons we love staying at the Staybridge Suites Hillsboro - Orenco Station. Thank You Jesus (p.s. Their free breakfast serves crisp bacon!)

Don't bother, stay somewhere else.

I am currently a Platinum member and travel extensively for both work and leisure. I have made IHG my hotel chain of choice because I am consistently impressed by the cleanliness, comfort, and value I receive when staying at hotels in your chain. I mention this to highlight that I have extensive experience with your brand and am familiar with the minimum standards of quality that I, as a guest, have come to expect. My stay at the Staybridge Suites in Hillsboro, Oregon - Orenco Station was severely lacking.I arrived on October 10, 2025, for a 10-night stay. When I arrived, a sign on the desk informed me, and the woman working the front desk also confirmed that the key card machine was down and they could not currently create any new keys. She stated it had been down for a few days, but that “we are working on it.” I was really frustrated, and had I known this in advance, I would have requested to be moved to a different property because this is a considerable inconvenience, constantly having to be escorted back up to my room, along with everyone else in the hotel. On Wednesday night, I returned from being out late, and another gentleman was checking in at the front desk. I let the woman at the front desk know that I needed to be let into my room and she insisted that she take us both up to our rooms together because ” you two are on the same floor, isn't that nice?” I offered to wait multiple times because I did not feel comfortable with this, but she insisted. She then asked me, in the elevator in front of the other guest, who was a single male, and I was a single female traveling alone, for my room number. This made me feel extremely unsafe knowing that there was a man on my floor who knew what room I was in and that I was by myself. I know it is standard practice in hotels not to disclose a guest's room number aloud when handing them their room key, so I was extremely confused that she was sharing room numbers with multiple guests. The door issue was not fixed until Thursday, a full six days into my stay. There is no excuse for something as integral as a door key machine to be left out of order for that long, especially over a weekend. I opened my dishwasher on Tuesday morning for the first time since I arrived to put some dirty dishes in. When I did, I was hit with the overwhelming swell of sewage and rotting food. There was standing, rancid water and rotting bits of food in the bottom of my dishwasher. I then went down to the front desk to alert the woman working there that my dishwasher was broken and explained the problem to her. She assured me that she would contact maintenance, and my dishwasher would be fixed that same day. I arrived back late Tuesday night to a still-broken dishwasher and an overwhelming smell of rotten food. On Wednesday morning, I went down to the front desk to inform someone that this issue was still unresolved. There was a man who appeared to be in his twenties, with red hair and a red beard, standing behind the counter in an oversized green hoodie, gray sweatpants, and sneakers, wearing no name tag. I thought he was a guest who had just happened to go behind the desk. He then asked how he could help me, and I realized that he actually worked there. I explained the problem to him again, and he told me, “Well, our maintenance guy is off on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, so the soonest I can get that fixed for you is tomorrow.” I explained there was an odor that was growing stronger in the room and I needed it fixed sooner, he said that he would try and get the maintenance guy in, and when I returned later that afternoon, he said that “ the maintenance guy is coming in on his day off, just for you, but he can't be here until after 2:00 p.m. but it'll definitely be fixed today.” My dishwasher was still not fixed when I returned later that night, and the odor had worsened. I also had ants in my bathroom, which I had mentioned to the man at the front desk when I reported my ongoing dishwasher issues. The ants were still there when I returned later Wednesday night. Thursday morning, I returned to the front desk with the woman who had initially assisted me on Tuesday morning and informed her that my dishwasher had become increasingly smelly and was still full of rotting food and rancid water, and that I now had ants, despite nothing having been done. She stated that the general manager was coming in and they would absolutely get that fixed that day. To her credit, when I arrived back around lunch time, my dishwasher was fixed and working properly, and a cycle had clearly been run. I also had no ants in my bathroom at that time. The general manager then arrived at my door shortly after and explained that he was reprogramming the door locks. I could go downstairs and retrieve my key card at any time. He also informed me that he had personally overseen the repair of my dishwasher. I thanked him, but let him know that I was frustrated that it had taken three days to get that fixed. The ants were a continuing issue for the rest of my stay, but considering how well they had responded to my previous complaints, I didn't see a point in letting them know that it was still ongoing. It is making me reconsider my relationship with the entire IHG brand, and I will never stay at this location again.

The Most Comfortable Rooms: Well Designed!

This was one of the best stays I have had at a hotel! First and foremost, the employees are amazing and go out of their way to make sure everyone has a positive experience and stay. Shadelle immediately greeted me and was so friendly and since it was a business trip she helped me to find my discount as an educator, and I was so incredibly grateful, she answered all of my questions and I could tell she really cared about all of the guests there. Jesus, the manager also made sure that I had everything I needed and he was very welcoming as well.
The rooms were the best, they were well designed, and the layout was so much more user friendly than most other hotel rooms I have stayed in. The kitchen was very accessible, and where the couch, bed, and bathroom were, made it a much more comfortable room and the tv could be watched from anywhere in the room. The breakfast had so many different options. I went for a walk in the morning and the hotel is beside some very cute neighborhoods to walk through, great location. I will for sure stay at this hotel every time I am in that area, comfortable, quiet, I highly recommend, nicest people and best night's sleep I have had in years, at a hotel!

Soggiorno decente….solo indossare scarpe o calzini. Le formiche restare attivi il pavimento del bagno. L'acqua era tiepida per le docce. La colazione è gratuita ogni mattina, ma aspetta un po', penso che servano prima gli avanzi.

Mi piace sempre soggiornare qui. La maggior parte del personale è eccezionale. Complimenti a Gesù, Anthony e Christina. L'unica persona che non è amichevole e più preoccupata di "socializzare" con gli ospiti di sesso maschile è l'addetto alla reception serale (quello che ha lavorato 8/18 e 8/19). Gli spuntini finivano sempre e quando le veniva chiesto se ne chiedevano altri o ricariche, era inteso con un atteggiamento come se fosse infastidita.

Questo è stato il soggiorno IHG che mi è piaciuto meno che abbia mai visto. Vorrei che i comfort e servizi fossero rispetto alle altre loro strutture.

Abbiamo sempre soggiorno presso le Staybridge Suites quando visitiamo nella zona. Il personale è molto accomodante quando abbiamo bisogno di qualcosa e la colazione è molto buona. Adoriamo le suite e i letti sono molto confortevoli!

Un soggiorno con esperienza mista

Ho prenotato una camera con 2 letti queen size e un divano letto, che è stata pubblicizzata sul sito web dell'hotel come adatta a 6 ospiti. Tuttavia, al momento di fare il check-in, abbiamo scoperto che il divano letto era in realtà di una misura Singola e il materasso era molto sottile e scomodo: si sentiva facilmente la struttura sottostante.

Dopo aver portato questo all'attenzione della reception, sono stati molto disponibili e ci hanno gentilmente offerto di passare a una camera con 2 LETTO QUEEN SIZE e 1 letto king, che abbiamo davvero apprezzato! Complimenti per l'ottimo servizio.

L'isolamento acustico dell'hotel potrebbe essere migliorato: si sentivano i rumori delle camere vicine e del piano superiore. Detto questo, tutto il personale era cordiale ed educato. Sebbene la reception inizialmente non offrisse acqua in omaggio per i soci Platinum, l'hanno fornita su richiesta, il che è stato apprezzato.

L'area circostante sembrava molto cassaforte, l'hotel era pulito e la colazione inclusa era generosa e gustosa. Nel complesso, un soggiorno piacevole con solo alcuni piccoli inconvenienti.

L'hotel nel complesso sembra abbastanza carino. Tuttavia c'erano formiche in tutta la mia camera. Ho chiesto tre volte di risolvere il problema e un manager non mi ha mai contattato. La ragazza della reception ha cercato di aiutare con le trappole, ma avevo bambini piccoli nella camera ed erano trappole che perdevano. Ho visto le formiche anche in molti altri posti dell'hotel. Basta risolvere il problema.
I letti non sono confortevoli. Il controllo del rumore è terribile. La colazione era ok - il personale è scortese.
La destinazione è buona. E il personale della reception è davvero una brava persona. Sono stati la parte migliore del soggiorno.

Nel complesso, il soggiorno della mia famiglia è stato sufficiente. Abbiamo avuto difficoltà a dormire e la piscina climatizzata non era riscaldata. È stata una delusione.
Tutto il personale era eccezionale e ha fatto del suo meglio entro la sua Capacità per aiutare. Probabilmente non ci tornerò.

Questa destinazione è pulita e confortevole. La suite con 2 camere da letto è perfetta per 4 adulti che soggiornano una settimana.
