Siamo così grati al meraviglioso manager e al personale di questo hotel che ci ha aiutato a mantenere la nostra famiglia al sicuro dopo un uragano e ha fornito un rifugio per la nostra famiglia per oltre 3 mesi. L'hotel era molto confortevole, pulito e i gestori e il personale erano accoglienti e accogliente e andavano ben oltre le nostre esigenze.

The room we were given was obviously occupied by smokers or someone in a nearby room was smoking, but no action was taken by the front desk. toilet didn’t work without me adjusting it every flush. there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher, i have pictures. there was a dirty used razor in a drawer. the floor had crumbs all over. the side fridge and cabinet with tv had stains all up and down. i was not compensated or allowed to move rooms til the last night. the doors to the pool area would not let you back in and were broken. i even asked if i could check out early with no penalty and was denied. we were there for an elite sports event and my daughter had to sleep in a smoke filled room. we were gone most days, and when we returned the smoke was worse.
Oh I love this hotel I slept well with nice and clean room.

Everything is excellent hotel licatet, staff is very communicated, clean rooms, and good views on ocean, I come back soon

I write this review in 2 parts because I want to share my experience with Vincent separately
When I checked in, I requested a late check out. the night before 12.26.24, I went to the desk to find out the time of the late check out.
The response was not pleasant and met with hostility.
I'm not going too deep into what transpired, I will only say tone and words makes a difference in the way a person responds.
If you are having a bad day, understand the person in front of you asking a question, did not cause the bad day. And even if they did understand you are representing a company.
Do better....
12.23.24-12.27.24 - Part 1 - Sakina

I'm writing two reviews because it is important to not combine my experience during my stay.
Sakina was a welcome joy from checking in to checking out. She was extremely helpful; pleasant to talk to and helped me to feel comfortable away from home.
You should hire more people like Sakina.

I have friends in the area and LOVE downtown St Pete however between the AWFUL reception desk and poor bkfst presentation (not to mention the bad smells throughout the property) I’m afraid I won’t be staying here gain even thou I am a DEVOUT Staybridge fan because of the shabby treatment

Front desk was very slow and was not friendly. Breakfast was not not good, sheet was not change parking was hard to find.

We stayed at this hotel about 3 years ago when we moved to the area. Unfortunately the brand or this franchise needs a refresh. Back to basics. The carpets are dirty-- garbage is left in the hallway for awhile (probably because there is no daily cleaning service). I dont know HOW at 7:30AM when breakfast starts both eggs and sausages were COLD yet came out of a steaming warm container. They never have enough utensils or plates --- it's all very mixed up. But bottom line is they need to start keeping the place alot cleaner rooms; halls; breakfast area. Also this is a customer service item. I called the front desk to notify them a meal delivery service was coming and to please let them send the person up. Well the phone call got dropped. OK - I immediately called back thinking call dropped was then told "I heard you before and I will let them up" so if someone has a dropped call and the person heard you does that mean that person hung up on you? Well either way many better ways to handle this with just a little care and professionalism; call the person back and say sorry our phone call was dropped--- etc....so while some things you can't control like the fact the circuit breaker popped twice when using the coffee machine in the room or that the coffee mug was broken and put back clean--- perhaps its the actual communication skills that can make up for the little problems that happen at all hotels. I will say the bed is very comfy so trying to find something positive. Most of the staff are very professional.

Neighborhood is questionable. It's looking a little tattered in the rooms. Grout and shower door are stained. Carpet has many pulls, and baseboards are damaged. Nice size room, very comfortable bed. Princess and Christina downstairs were very friendly and helpful.

In addition to the blood stained mattress and box spring in room 207, (luckily there were 2 beds in the room and only needed one) the hotel is directly next to a homeless park where people live/sleep. The toilet was wobbly (very loose) from the floor, the glass shower door would not move on one side and was disconnected from the track (SAFETY HAZARD). Room also had NO USB ports available for device charging and no alarm clock. Carpet was coming apart literally at the seams. Plastic utensils but real plates at breakfast?
