Avid can be deceiving as it is not a name that is somewhat new, but don’t let it fool you. We have stayed here and at other avid location several times and always leave very satisfied with the friendly and professional staff along with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel. I would certainly recommend this location to anyone needing a great overnight experience.

Being away from home and family for an extended time is never easy, but this hotel truly made the experience comfortable. The property was exceptionally clean and well-kept, which immediately put me at ease. Most importantly, the staff made me feel welcome and cared for. Brandon and Jasmine went above and beyond with their kindness and professionalism, and their efforts really made my stay so much easier. I’m very grateful for their hospitality and would gladly stay here again.

깨끗하고, 서비스도 좋고, 위치도 좋아요. 15 시간의 여행 후 우리에게 꼭 필요한 것이었어요. 우리가 거기에 도착했을 때 비가 내리고 있었고 근무 중이던 프런트 데스크 직원이 그녀가 문을 걸어 들어갈 때 짐을 내리는 데 사용할 우산을 제안했습니다. 정말 감사합니다.

As this was my first time at an Avid hotel, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend this hotel if you want a quiet night sleep after a nice hot shower to relax and dream of your next trip after a great meal here. I gave a 10, and not ding them for not having a microwave in the rooms for late night meals from the many places to eat in the city of Byron, GA.

Very atypical experience with an IHG property… stayed on night and had no hot water in the morning. You pay for a room with the expectation of the most basic of amenities… like hot water. When I called down about it, I was told I had to “play with it.” (?) When I checked out I was told it was a known maintenance issue. I was also told the mgr would likely add points to our account to compensate for the trouble. They gave us 500 points. Virtually worthless.

It was nice stay. I would stay there again.

With this hotel chain being a part of the IHG family, I expected the same quality experience as with Holiday Inn Express. This particular one was well below the standard of excellence!

Nice new establishment but has a camper vibe

If you have ever been traveling the interstate and pass an RV and think it’d be cool to travel in one of those this is the vibe of the room. When I walked in I was like oh wow it’s compact with compartment feeling of a camper. I like that they don’t waste putting in a dresser that no one ever uses. It was very small and compact but a new and clean building. Absolutely LOVED the blackout curtains. I think $170 is a lot to spend on such a small room but I guess you are paying for the new construction of it. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s just screamed “glamping” to me. Not much room to walk around. That being said either because there is no carpet or it’s cheaply and poorly constructed I heard every foot step of the people above me which when ur paying $170 per night I don’t feel that should happen. 7 out of ten. I’d stay again but I’d choose a Holiday Inn Express or Hampton Inn if those were close options.
