People walking around the lobby without shoes

This is my third year in a row staying here. The first two years were very good. This year was very disappointing. The overall hotel is very dirty and people are walking around the lobby with no shoes on. I’m not sure if this is a cultural thing but management should enforce people wearing shoes while walking around in common area, such as the lobby.

Stay was so nice comfortable staff is friendly and helpful
everything is available so comfortable location is good
Check-in and check out is really easy
Breakfast is good as well
Bathroom has everything shampoo, conditioner, body wash no need to bring anything no worries. I really recommend this place.

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here I did not want to leave. This hotel is clean comfy and cozy and and the breakfast is worth waking up and coming downstairs for. Customer service is A+ top tier amazing.

Perfect balance of quality, price, service and convenience. Always very clean and staff is very helpful. I do wish breakfast offered a bit more variety like it did before!

This was our first experience with Avid and the Des Plaines location was great. The building parking area are in great condition. The desk personnel were very pleasant and very helpful, ensured we had all we needed and if we had any concerns. Room were great. Spacious, clean, great beds and pillows, bathrooms were very clean and in great condition. 100% Will stay at this location again.
