The rooms were very clean staff super helpful, very friendly very welcoming maybe because of the day that I went in the pool was not the best out of trash around the pool and there were no clean pool towels like nobody had checked it. Breakfast was more of grab and go so if you’re looking for a hearty breakfast, I recommend you ask one of the staff members they will give you great recommendations I want to go, but if you’re just looking for something like they can provide that for you for me, the bed was too soft, but the clearness makes up for everything

Housekeeping was awful

Room was not cleaned when we left for the day. Went to breakfast at 9am and left the hotel at 10:30am. Did not have the do not disturb sign out. Came back to the room at 9pm and room was not cleaned. Found a dead cockroach, no towels replaced nothing. Tried calling the front desk 3 times but the manager couldn't hear me and hung up 3 times before I went down there to get some towels. Told the front desk the next morning and they completely brushed it off saying we probably had the sign out when we did not. Tried to ask housekeeping for an extra laundry bag but the housekeeper had to turn down her music because it was so loud she couldnt understand us and she only spoke Spanish so I had to look threw the cart to get it. Very unprofessional housekeeping.

Booked hotel for a auntie niece weekend to enjoy 4th July at Panther Pavilion. Everything was awesome. Front desk agents Rock super friendly gave suggestions on food an entertainment.

I booked this room using my credit card but paying with a company card at check in. When I checked in, I was told I couldn't use the company card. My boss spent most of his Friday on the phone with Corporate and couldn't get the charges reversed, the hotel manager never showed up or returned a phone call. I checked in Thursday night, Friday morning I informed the desk clerk of a few problems: soap dispenser broken and the toilet ran all night. Neither of those were fixed while I was there. Then housekeeping took the bath rug I had left hanging on the shower door but didn't leave a clean one. Not at all impressed with this hotel.

This was my first time in an Avid Hotel, and my first time in Fort Worth. This was 1 of the nicest, cleanest, hotels I have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend it to anyone coming to Fort Worth, especially if you have business or leisure in the downtown area, as this hotel is literally 1.5 minutes to downtown. Rooms is not spacious, but big enough to be comfortable, get a nice hot shower, and sleep.

Very clean and close to Stockyards. Will definitely stay at this location again. Pool was closed but the hotel called to let me know and offered a free cancellation if I wanted to stay elsewhere. Felt very safe staying at this location. Only negative to the hotel would be the train tracks behind the hotel.

I travel to Fort Worth regularly and have struggled to find a hotel that I want to return to. I've found it with the Avid hotel. Staff were friendly, the room was clean, easy parking, and I appreciate the simple room design. A plus is that it's convenient to the Trinity Trail system. I'll be back. For this brand, the breakfast is "grab and go," which I don't mind, but next time I'll bring a few of my own more healthy options.

It was a lovely stay with welcoming staff. The location is in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access (5min) to town and the Stockyards (10min). The breakfast was a nice variety of items and was more than adequate. I’d stay here again, we like quiet places and no hustle bustle of bars etc.

We were so excited to stay here as we were there for a mother daughter trip. My daughter always looks forward to the pool. We got there, checked in and changed for the pool. There was a sign that the pool was closed, we asked the front desk and they said it will possibly be open the next day. The next day we tried again but another sign was up and it was closed by the Health Department. Very upsetting as we had planned on spending a lot of time at the pool. We went back up to our room to relax, watch TV and nap. Then the fire alarms started going off, the front desk informed us after walking down that it went off by mistake due to the pool being drained. The alarm continued to go off and on for about 2-3 hours. By this time my daughter and I were ready to checkout because there is absolutely no way we could relax. The hotel did not know why the alarm kept going off other than that the pool was being drained. Overall our mother daughter stay was starting off to be a horrible stay. My daughter had asked if she could get ice cream from the little market in the hotel, so we did and he ice cream was freezer burnt. I am usually not one to to write a bad review but this was one of the most horrible stays. Most of the staff there was not in a good mood or something, they always seemed to have a chip on their shoulder. The hotel room was clean, the bed was very comfy and breakfast was good but only had 1 option for fruit.

I think this is the best value for the price hotel in downton Fort Worth. Walking distance to everything, free parking, busy, but quiet neighborhood. Nothing overly special about the hotel but the staff is always friendly and havn't had a bad experience in over 10 stays.
