Anniversary stay at Kimpton

My wife has always wanted to stay at this property. She has had friends stay and say they loved it. We are Marriott and Hilton members and usually stay loyal to those properties. Shorebreak was a bit too noisy with the location and for the price I wasn’t happy with my “ocean view” that I paid more for. The valet and luggage staff were amazing. We asked for an early check in as we had an early dinner planned and wanted to enjoy the beach prior to. We were able to get in the room at 3:15 rather than 4pm check in which helped. If you have children with you it’s fine but as we were hoping for a quiet ocean view for our 17th this wasn’t the best fit. We stayed at the Hyatt up the street last anniversary and it was more in our lane.

Centrally located. The amenities were amazing. The service was wonderful! It’s been a week and I’m still savoring the weekend!

Overall, this hotel provides great service, friendly staff and fantastic accommodations. Very clean and well kept property. Definitely take advantage of valet services. Highly recommend. Very kid friendly.

Another guest said to us "You'll love this hotel. It's rad". And she was right! We loved all of the thought that went into making guests feel welcome. In the lobby area there are fun games and above average drink and coffee options. In the courtyard there's fire pits and they give out nightly s'mores. I believe they do a movie night outside as well. They offer free bikes, scooters, beach chairs, beach toys etc. Usually hotels charge extra for these amenities but they were all included in the resort fee. There's even a rock climbing wall. We were traveling with our two kids (10yo and 14yo) and we really enjoyed this hotel. Oh and the lotion and soaps smell divine and made by veterans! Thank you, Kimpton!

We did not expect the experience that we ended up getting.. The time at the hotel was fun all the time. There was something to do for all ages.. The location was great and the staff was amazing.. I do not believe I would want to stay anywhere else if I am visiting Huntington beach.. We booked for 2 days, and then ended up extending our stay for another 2 days because it was so fun and relaxing.. The staff make you feel like you own the place.. Thank you for making our vacation awesome!!

We’ve passed this hotel half a dozen times over the years. Yesterday we were passing through town and needed a place to stay. Wow! Glad we stayed! What a beautiful, cozy, hip, comfortable place. Great service! Clean comfortable room! Staff was courteous and accommodating. Close to all the important sights. Great ocean views & amenities. Roomy bathrooms and rooms. I would definitely stay here again.

Where do i start! From the warm welcome at check in, to all staff in encountered during my stay, everyone was friendly and welcoming. The Front Desk agent, Danny, went way above and beyond in making sure our room was perfect. Please tell him we are very grateful for all he did.

You ALL were so welcoming and fun. The atmosphere was so relaxing and cozy. Loved the room with the record player and ice chest. The bathroom was amazing. Huge tub and huge shower. We could see the pier️
Your restaurant is totally a 5 star. The food was high class and delicious Thank you for a wonderful time
