Very clean hotel. The room, the elevators, the fitness room…all extremely clean. So clean I thought the property was brand new but it’s over four years old.

Breakfast was adequate. It won’t win any awards but it is a hot breakfast—not just a continental breakfast.

The hotel is very clean.

The staff is friendly, especially Nya at the front desk. She’s dry helpful and friendly.

The view from room 310 overlooked a pretty wooded area—not a parking lot.

Wow…what a clean hotel!

There needs to be a microwave in the room. You have to use a communal microwave downstairs. First world problem I know, but not having a microwave in the room was inconvenient.

Other than that, it was a great stay.

Did I mention the hotel was clean?

What a horrible room. We checked in at midnight and got the leftover room. There were many issues with this stay first starting with a tiny room by far the smallest room in the entire IHG system and I have stayed in quite a few. Then the floor, it was failing at the bathroom and actually was falling thru to the floor below. It gave a good 2 inches when stepping on it. We had to avoid it the entire time because I was afraid I would fall and get hurt very badly. The ac/heater sounded like a freight train when it ran. Next was the shower water pressure, there wasn’t any. Truthfully it was less than a quart a minute. Do you know how hard it is to rinse, it took 10 minutes just to get the soap off. I talked to the front desk and asked for a manager but they don’t work the weekends so my complaints fell on deaf ears. I did get a different room for the next night but had the put up with the paper thin wall Ang the guest having the TV on as loud as possible all night long, no exaggeration he must sleep with it on to not hear anything else. At least they got some sleep. What was slightly better in this room and it was larger. All in all I would not recommend this hotel

My stay at the Avid exceeded my exceptions! I saw good reviews and took the chance and booked it because it was close to where the family I was visiting lived. I was very pleased from the moment I walked in the front door. I was graciously treated by a very sweet young lady at the front desk, she was kind enough to get us checked in early and it was a positive experience from check in to check out. All the staff is very friendly and I would say this is probably one of the cleanest hotels I have ever. stayed at. There is a nice variety for the continental breakfast, always being replenished. I highly recommend the Avid, I for sure will stay here on my next trip to SC.

The Customer Service was so great and outstanding in the custodial’s were very friendly. But on the text side of things, the Internet needs to be faster because it was lagging and the smart TV was not able to stream Netflix.

Hotel was nice and the staff was pleasant. I wish this hotel had a pool. For breakfast serve turkey sausage or bavomalong with the pork sausage and bacon.

This spot was really quaint, the staff was nice and the room was really clean. The room was also of adequate size and style. You get a lot of bang for the buck.

Room was clean but very warm when we arrived. We arrived late but hoped this would have been addressed the next day. It was not addressed and we had to cool the room with a fan that we brought with us.

I really enjoyed my stay at Avid in Summerville, SC. The hotel was centrally located to the highways and nearby restaurants and stores which was a major plus. The facility and room was extremely clean and well stocked with hygiene supply. Beds were clean and comfortable. Loved the variety of breakfast food and drinks. It was great to have access to free coffee and tea, filtered water (both hot and cold), as well as sparkling water throughout the day. The AC worked well in my room and was so thankful for that due to the extremely humid and hot temperatures. This is a pet friendly facility that it did not smell like it at all in my room or throughout the hotel. They had plenty of space for your furry pet to enjoy the outdoors. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised to have experienced such a wonderful stay for the affordable price. I'll definitely be staying again whether in SC or another state. :)
