The second we have the chance, we are coming back!

The Niu is, simply put, one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The hotel was beautiful, well stocked, very modern, exceptionally clean, easy to navigate and the staff were second to none. They went above and beyond for us and really went out of their way to provide exceptional service - not just to us, but every guest. Daniel and Sebastian were outstanding members of staff! They made our stay perfection, gave us amazing recommendations for places to check out like a real Cologne local and you can tell that they really cared about their jobs. I would come back to the hotel simply for them! The breakfast was a delight too, the range on offer was incredible, there was something for everybody, in every mood. I left that breakfast room feeling stuffed every morning. Gorgeous food and brilliant coffee selection too! We really didn't want to go home, but now we know that we have a reliably wonderful hotel to come back to when we return to Cologne!

Overnight visit to Cologne

This hotel was perfect for our quick visit to Cologne! We were driving from Copenhagen to Paris and stayed in two towns in Germany on the way. Cologne was on our list because of the sites (mainly the cathedral!) and that we have friends close! The room decorations were so cute and the bedding was comfortable. We ended up purchasing breakfast and are so glad we did. It was hearty with a ton of options and fresh and delicious. The servers in the breakfast area were very helpful and friendly. I would have loved to extend our stay here...but we had a flight out of Paris so one night was all we had! I would definitely stay here again!

Ordentliche Zimmer und Bett, gemütliche Eindruck

Zimmer empfand ich als recht klein. Dafür doch gemütlich. Bett war in Ordnung. Waren überfordert mit meinen Elite Status, da Hotel ziemlich leer hätte ich ein besseres Zimmer erwartet.

Totally Disappointed

I do not think this Hotel meets the standard of Holiday Inn hotels. The availability of furniture, the two single beds joined as one, the separate linens - all were just below expectations. And the unfortunate part was that nothing of that room was like it was described in the website. I totally am disappointed with using this hotel for my Reward Night stay !
