A few tweaks would be great

My stay was amazing I loved it, one or a couple things I would ask to change is the issue with the bathtubs that If you have the bottom spout running the tub fills up without the hole being covered and it takes forever to empty. The cupboard is great, only thing I would like to ask is since I was staying during peak pollen season my allergy meds ran out and I wished there was some there to help me out until I got more. Other than that 10/10

The hotel staff was extremely friendly for check in and check out. My room with the king bed was extremely comfortable and had plenty of space for my dogs. We only stayed for 1 evening since we were in transit but I would definitely recommend this location to anyone that needs to stay on Fort Eisenhower. The hotel location was right across the street from the PX and commissary which was super convenient.

Awesome despite Hurricane

This candlewood suites is my favorite hotel out of all other IGH hotels and is so much better other pet friendly hotels we have stayed at when we travel especially when our dog travels with us. We've stayed at this candlewood location multiple times because our son is stationed at Fort Eisenhower and when we visit him, he stays with us at the lodging so we can spend more time with him. This trip was planned because our son who is in the Airforce was supposed to get promoted on 9/27/24. But Hurricane Helene hit the base and multiple cities near by. Even though we were without power, then on 9/29/24 the water had been shut off for the base and community, the staff was so awesome anyways. Huge shout out to Gia, Gift, the rest of the staff that work at the the front desk, the ladies that usually make the breakfast and the housekeeping that is usually there and the ones that were able to be there after the hurricane hit tried their best to accommodate all of us despite this travesty. The staff at fort eisenhower lodging including the holiday inn when I stayed there once last month has the best hotel staff ever and it shows they love their jobs. They have the best customer service and they take the time to get to know us and remember our names and thank me for being a rewards memeber. They deserve a huge raise or bonus and recognition.

WORST BREAKFAST!!!!

HI
Over the weekend was the worst breakfast I've ever had at
any IHG hotel. Why...... it's the weekend and there's no management / leadership on duty. Scramble eggs and pork sausage links !!!!! oh wow...... sorry but that's not IHG breakfast standards. Food service workers (3) standing around gossiping instead of ensuring breakfast is up to standards. Anyway, breakfast was horrible!!

Sorry for such a late review. I just want to compliment the staff (Esther, Cori, and Deandre) on providing such wonderful customer service! They went above and beyond in recommending places to eat and researching phone numbers for me to call. I was stationed many times on Fort Gordon, and this was the first time I was there for leisure. Thank you so much for making this a place I will definitely come back to.

Staff was pleasant and the room was very comfortable. The pricing was excellent for retirees. Only drawback was they are short on cleaning crew/staff on weekends.

I stayed for one night and the customer service was great! Deondre' Jordan at the service dest was professional, courteous, and helpful. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The only down side to the visit was the breakfast if you make some minor improvements e.g. more standard breakfast omelette, scrambled eggs and working juice machines filled for patrons.

Great location on Base
Highly recommend if you are staying on base.
Kitchen is full and if you bring your one food you can cook in room

Another Great Stay at The Candlewood Hotel in Fort Gordon, GA

Overall my experience was fantastic from the reservation process to the moment I checked in, and then when I checked out. I was glad the reservations staff was able to accommodate my days, even when the timeline was delayed by 24 days. My first stay was in March 2022 and I knew I was going to return again in late 2022. The staff's flexibility, customer service, and desire to help were above and beyond the typical hotel customer service. I chose to stay on post as my first choice because it is safe, clean, and quiet, and above all, the customer service is superior to any hotel off post. I truly appreciate the fact that they were able to accommodate my request. The staff was always ready to help during my stay and even as I was departing for the airport, they had already made fresh coffee and I got a cup to go. Thank you to the management and the hotel staff for making my stay away from home comfortable and super positive. Thank you again and hope to see you all again in the near future.
