This is a beautiful hotel with friendly staff and many accomodations. However I would say booking a room online was very frustrating as my wife and I reserved a suite 6 months prior to our stay only to be checked in to standard. I had to go back to the front desk to ask for an explanation and was told that there was an error with the booking system and that the suite we booked 6 months ahead was not available. I then had to ask for a refund for the difference of what we had been charged for the suite to the standard room rate. We were offered breakfast vouchers for one day as compensation for the error. My wife was very disappointed as this was a wedding anniversary trip for us.

Stay was okay with few issues

Our stay was okay. Few issues like the shower tub doesn’t drain well and the shower gel and lotion was not replenished. Got charged for resort fees that we didn’t know about. But that was taken care of after i complained about it. Got sick eating at their very expensive restaurant. Otherwise, location was pretty good.

Absolutley terrible. The room we booked online showed pictures of a nicely updated room. The room we received was from the 80's with zero updates. The front desk moved us to a new room. However, our sheets were extremly dirty and when we brought it up to the front desk, ZERO help. Would like to speak to the GM

We stayed one night at The Squire at the Grand Canyon. It turned out to be an unpleasant experience from the start. It took a very long time to check in. Not enough employees. We had dinner at the restaurant at the hotel. The food was not great. My husband's burger was raw.
The last straw was that I left my prescription medications in our room at checkout. I have been trying for days to get through to someone to try to retrieve the prescription and have had no luck. People who answer the phone put me on hold for a long time and then have no real interest in sorting out my problem once they get back on the line. Very disappointing for a resort hotel.

Needs bathroom improvements to shower and sink

This is a nice hotel and property minus the bathroom in the room. It was very small as far as sink counter space. Hardly enough for two people. The shower has no shelving or niches or anyplace to set your products much less a bar of soap! The shower curtain was too short-about 4 inches above the floor and water winds up getting most of the bathroom floor wet. A BIG slippery fall hazard! Had to use all the towels to wipe up the wet floor. Poor design fail!
We also did not receive any free bottles of water for either nights stay until I commented at check out and were given 2 then.
