Un peu déçu

Problème avec le robinet du lavabo de la salle de bain : il n'y avait de l'eau chaude qu'en mettant au bout de l'eau chaude, sinon l'eau était froide. J'ai remonté le problème à la réception le mardi matin. Un technicien devait passer voir dans la journée. Mais je n'ai pas vu de différence dans la suite de mon séjour.
Jeudi matin et vendredi matin, j'ai eu aussi un problème avec la douche. Après l'avoir réglé pour avoir de l'eau tiède, elle devenait brulante ou glaciale. Et si par chance, j'arrivais à la régler à nouveau correctement, ça recommençait un petit peu après. Donc, moment très déplaisant lors de la douche.
Le papier peint de la pièce principale se décollait largement à quelques endroits et le tapis m'a semblé un peu tâché.
J'ai trouvé aussi pas terrible le jardinet "privatif" avec bruit du parking et des camions de livraisons derrière la haie.
Points positifs : la chambre était spacieuse et confortable, j'y ai très bien dormi, une jolie piscine intérieure, un bon petit-déjeuner et un personnel toujours sympathique.

My family and I booked a two storey family room for a one night stay at the end of our French holiday. The room was of an ideal size.
We were met with a very warm welcome by the hotel staff who were extremely friendly.
The only reason for marking down was to make the point about room refreshments. Knowing that I’d booked a hotel for four individuals it was extremely poor to only be given a single complementary water.
The same goes for the room coffees, milk and so on. There were only two coffees, no milk and no tea option. It’s frustrating to have to ask for this when it’s something so simple that costs pittance to facilitate.
Overpriced and not 4 star

Very expensive and not a 4 star. In poor state - acknoledge by staff - apparently closing for refurbishment, but not reflected in the price. Restaurants advertised closed - had to go oof site for food.

Highly recommend. The hotel is lovely, conveniently located and has great services and staff. We were worried when we got there as the outside doesn't stand out much but the inside is really different, clean, with lots of light and nicely decorated. The staff was really friendly. The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There are a lot of activities available on site and the beach is easily accessible on foot or a very short drive away

Facilities not working.
Very loud rude group of men. Couldn’t go to the bar and trapped in our room most of the evening doors shut due to the group

Stayed barely 15hours as overnight stop over. Used it before for same purpose. Convenient location, pleasant 20 minute walk to main street . Room small and hot, shower over quite deep bath, maybe a bit tricky for older people. Didn’t have breakfast, expensive. It had amenities we didn’t use which probably makes it more expensive than the room justifies.
Make this a destination hotel

We have always used a hotel as just somewhere to sleep but we plan to return and use this hotel as the destination and just stay around the resort

Good location, parking etc, 10 mins walk to town. Enjoyed the stay, we could stay again. We had a garden room, which gives you access to the garden and a couple of chairs.
Room adequate, maybe bathroom needs updating- but its clean and comfortable

Légèrement à l'extérieur du centre ville mais proche à pied, cet hôtel a satisfaisait nos attentes. Un peu cher, hôtel globalement assez ancien mais bien rénové et propre. Isolation phonique de qualité, tout comme le petit déjeuner et la disponibilité du personnel.
Hotel OK But bath / shower combination is dangerous

A very dated hotel that needs some care and attention put into it. My biggest issue was that the bath was raised to such an extent it made egress a very dangerous operation. The bath is very narrow at the bottom (probably to save water when bathing) but it made taking a shower, which was placed over the bath, very uncomfortable as there is nowhere flat to stand. The shower curtain also falls down inside the bath and reaches the base. I almost fell getting out of the shower as I did not realise the bath was set so much higher off the floor. My wife did slip on the floor when exiting the shower and fell to the ground.
The pool could be very nice but it is neglected and cold. It does not appear to have been updated since the 1970's. The Jaccuzi was not working and some sort of large block of concrete at the shallow end which looked as if it should have water flowing just made the whole thing look ugly. The setting and the building could be fantastic - if it was looked after.
Breakfast was good with a selection and quantity a-plenty. Empty plates were removed quickly but in line with the rest of the hotel one of the coffee machines was not working!
Le Touquet is a lovely place and the location of the hotel is very good and within easy walking distance to the centre and the beach, but I would not recommend the place for the reasons outlined above.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn for at least 25 years, and it is a great venue.
Located in the iconic town of Le Touquet, it serves as fantastic accommodation in its own right, having superb facilities and adjacent to the main areas.
Some 15 minutes out of town by foot, it is relaxing to meander through the interesting and (quality) infrastructure.
The town is simply amazing, with great interests and restaurants.
And of course the beaches.
Strategically, I should add it is the perfect venue for a first night stopover before heading onwards into France.
Super convenient for the channel ports, and only half an hour away.
