Thus hotel is located at the heart of city, have friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are big and nice. Comfortable to stay but their breakfast needs to improve.

I travel quite extensively (earning top tier status with the other major hotel chains) and this is one of the best hotels we have been to. Not only are the rooms top notch but the service is impeccable. They really do go above and beyond what is expected. And the location is very convenient with plenty of restaurants nearby. But the best part is that it is literally above a subway line with easy access to other parts of the city. As a New Yorker that's a huge plus. And with many Asian hotels, breakfast is a massive spread of both western and asian cuisines, but the Intercontinental Fuzhou does an exceptional job emphasizing its many local delicacies. I highly recommend this hotel the next time you are in Fuzhou.

An affordable 5 stars IC hotel that is closed to train station and has restaurants and convenience shop within 5 -8 mins walking distance. Breakfast variety and quality can be further improved considering this is an IC hotel (as compared to other HI brand and other IC in other countries).
